UPS. Feb 29, 2012 by Eric Waylon Today an undisclosed source with the New Jersey Nets management confirmed reports that they are in discussions concerning a trade for Boston point guard Rajon Rondo. The Nets would purportedly ship recently signed Gerald Green to Boston for Rondo. Sources say the Nets will not consumate the deal unless Boston throws in a first round draft pick or someone who can shoot.  Said Nets assistant GM, James Clavell, "look we've seen Rondo enough to know that the kid is a very good athlete and can pass to very good shooters, but lets not kid ourselves, he can't hit the side of a barn door with a shot from 10 feet out, his defense consists of the other four men on the court switching off when he gets beat consistently and he is a certified bull goose looney."  Clavell added, "Gerald may be a bull goose looney who can't play defense, but at least he has a decent jump shot"
