    here is the deal 1 campionship,2 championship appearances.if rondo is such a liability on defense why didnt the celtics get rid of him?

    1.  They DID try to trade him.....multiple times!!  Did you miss the many Rondo trades like the attempt for Chris Paul and the attempt to trade Ray and Rondo together?

    2. At some point, he improved in enough areas such that they now have to balance the positives of Rondo with the negatives of Rondo.  

    3. After a while, Doc's tutoring of Rondo started to take effect and he's better (at least on offense).

    Rondo is not playing defense, most of the time.  He has been reading his press releases and his head has swelled to the size of a watermelon.  The guy has lost the ball seveal times trying to showboat.  MVP he better get his act together or he could watch from the bench, he is on a talented team. 




    One of the many reasons why danny wants to trade him from time to time.
