[QUOTE]chris paul is a great player, but i still wonder who plays center this year with either paul or rondo at the point. o'neal, by himself, certainly cannot fill our center position

The master plan is very simple.  Get Paul and veteran free agents in search of a championship will line up for a 1-year contract.  Don't know who all are out there but I feel that it will work.

He didn't even know CP3 was in the playoffs last year and played fantastic against the Lakers...

Re: Rumors begin again!!!! Paul trade Talk

David Aldridge reported Wednesday that Chris Paul will not extend his contract with the Clippers or Warriors.

And this means that neither team will trade significant assets for him. Paul has a path to New York that is being under-reported because it involves a wink-nod deal between Paul and the Knicks (he gets traded there this year, convinces them he'll sign as free agent next year). If you discount that possibility it leaves the Lakers as a possible long-term landing spot and perhaps Boston on a one-year mercenary deal. Like Denver with Melo before Knicks owner James Dolan screwed things up, the Hornets have zero leverage here despite what you may read. Paul will pick his spot, and then the offers will follow.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Rumors begin again!!!! Paul trade Talk : CP3, with no extension, for Rondo, Jeff Green, and two 1st round picks, I mean come on, can't get any better than that for New Orleans. The Lakers are offering Andrew Bynum. Good deal for the Hornets if they didn't have Okafor who still has 40m and 3 years left on his contract. Without Eric Gordon no way will the Hornets accept that deal. If the Warriors won't include Steph Curry then there's no deal. In the end Boston has the best offer.

Why the hell wouldn't they do it?  No one is giving that much up.
