In Response to Re: The Lakers; a whole lot of smoke and mirrors : You're talking as if Nash and Jamison will be healthy come playoff time. Remember, it's 82 games in 6 months, it's not like Nash and Jamison are still 30 years old. If what you are saying is true, then Shaq and the Celts would have beaten the Heat in 2011.

I guess you have a short memory.
I found this post from you when you wanted to trade Rondo for Nash in February. Nash's age wasn't a concern then.

As for Nash, he would be an upgrade and could possibly bring the C's #18; however, all of these discussions bring me back to Ainge's original target Chris Paul. If they could have gotten that deal done, this team would be amazing. Paul is a younger, meaner Nash that plays good defense.

Jason Kidd won a ring at 38 years old.

If we trade Rondo for Nash we would need a backup like JJ Barea. The Kidd-Barea tandem worked out well for the Mavs last year. Kidd starting and finishing while Barea does the heavy lifting in between.

If you read it and understand it, it says Kidd starts and finishes and Barea takes over in between. The Lakers don't have a Barea type PG to backup Nash.

I mean you're almost a senior citizen and you still can't understand simple english.

It was hedley's idea to trade for Nash. I was only explaining how the Celts can be effective with Nash if the Celts added a Barea type PG.

And who's the idiot who wanted to send out the National Guards to look for the trolls? Ha Ha

Apparently it's not necessary to send out the National Guards. Just acquire 2 players with bad backs and the trolls will reappear.

Bad backs are terrible but 2 players with heart conditions coming from operations and one with Sam Bowie shoulders is worse. Isn't it???

GK, time to take the Celtics memorial pic down, that's played out now. Clearly you didn't learn all the lessons you needed to learn, you still behave insufferably in here.

I wish I could judge you based on having a great Celtic friend but I'm left instead with the drivel you post in here. Honor your friend by heading to a Lakers forum instead of being a front-runner in here.

Again, GK, I don't know what country you came from, but apparently they're not advanced in medical technology.

Wilcox and Green's heart condition was only life threatening if not corrected. Once corrected it doesn't have any long term effects. Example is Turiaf. You should know because Turiaf was a Laker when he had the same procedure years ago. Until now Turiaf has not suffered any setbacks from that heart condition, right?

Common sense, GK. Nash can't even sit down properly and you expect him to run for 82 games in 6 months? Ugh!

In Response to Re: KG very high on Austin Rivers, wants him on the Celtics : Disagree. Average at best. Everyone talks about what a great shooter he is, but he hit 35% from the college 3-point line 66% from the free throw line. Before you say it, I know, those numbers would be a step up from Rondo. Either way, we're not going to get him.

While Austin Rivers has potential, he's not that great yet. I don't think he's a lottery pick. He's overrated.

No one would pick Austin Rivers ahead of Perry Jones or Kendall Marshall.

Austin Rivers will be there when it's time for the Celts to make their pick.
    Guess what? Wrong again.

Like I said, I changed my mind after seeing Rondo play in the playoffs and after what I found out about Nash's injury. Dig deeper and you'll see Nash is not supposed to be playing.

Uncle Jeff played in all 81 games this season.

    So much for heart condition.
