    Shavlik-Shaped Hole

KG busted a gut in the last game and was crying out for a bit of spelling from Shavlik to drain some energy from the Knicks' bigs. My opinion anyways. Doc kinda went cool on the guy and seems to just want Wilcox to deliver more as he has some kinda emotional attachment to him. Wilcox has a better tool-box but Shavlik seems to have the drive and wants it more.

But the long-view: looks like in the draft the C's will draft a serviceable big as it's that kinda draft. Sully will return. KG will probably walk back through that door. Melo will continue to primed like he's the pretender to Perkins' throne. Wilcox has the love of Doc.

    Where does Shavlik fit in?

I'd like to see Shavlick coral some boards. Maybe he's not good on the pick and roll defense, which is Chandler's forte (setting screens), so Doc doesn't want him in there. It's too bad cause NY is playing small but still getting off rebounds (ouch).

the big rotation runs on birth certificate credentials like always.  so wilcox is older, he plays.  randolph sits.  it's just that easy
