Its really funny, Kome one days says he is playing better than ever, next day he is saying "we are old".
Kome -"We didn't look past them. I mean, you just saw an old team," Bryant said. "I don't know how else to put it. We're just slow, and they're a team that's younger with fresher legs and played with more energy. We were just stuck in the mud. And as individuals, we all have to figure out how to get ourselves ready each and every game to have a high-level game. That's a big thing when you're starting to age. It's tough, and it takes a lot of commitment."
Howard-"We just didn't play together, especially on the defensive end, and we had a lot of mistakes down the stretch," Howard said. "Nobody rotated fast enough, and that's where we lost the game. The games we've won -- blowing teams out -- we've played a certain way. The games we've lost, we've played a different way. So we need to find a balance."
Artest-Metta World Peace, 33, refused to accept the age of the Lakers' roster as an excuse for their play, pointing out what the New York Knicks have accomplished so far this season.
"That's no excuse, the Knicks are playing great, so that's no excuse," World Peace said. "You can't use it as an excuse for us. Thank you. Thanks for trying."
What do you think Howard is talking about with balance? You think some of these guys would like Kome to spend some effort on something besides offense? Maybe share the ball a little?
Nash has came back and is pretty much getting a double double each game. Have things changed much?
