Kelly Olynyk is the exact opposite of D. Jordan:  Skilled but not athletic.

    Hi,

It's not known, yet, that the picks are '14 and '16. Technically they could be '13 and '15.

But if it is '14 it's (should be) good - predictions are that that draft's going to be much deeper than this year.

We had the Clippers 1st rd pick last year via OKC. I always thought the rules said you can't trade your 1st rd pick away in the multiple years. So it would be '14 and '16.

The '16 pick, if unprotected or even just top 3 protected, could be really good, as KG will be done, Pierce (if he joins them) likely will be. Paul/Griffin's contracts of almost 40 million will be cap killers and CP3 will be over 30 and has a bad knee already.

    Both picks better be unprotected.

    Correct.

With #16, if available and considering likely players on the board, I pick Plumlee and if he's gone then Adetokunbo.

Better yet, I would try to trade the pick and/or one of the future picks in a package to move down and try to get Caldwell Pope or McCullum who should both be in the 8-12 pick range.  Maybe #16 and 2014 first round pick to Minn for #9 and #51.

I think both these guys will make an immediate impact at SG and allow us the flexibility to trade AB for another key piece, although I would prefer keeping AB and get rid of Terry and Crawford.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think that both DA and the Clipps are fighting over these picks because they plan on using them in a package for something else. I know DA spends a lot of time in college gyms across the country but after seeing what a project Melo still is I get the feeling that DA may not want to roll the dice and chance the the C's future on a low to mid first round pick.

If they get a late 1st round pick then Danny should be selecting Ricky Ledo. Good size at 6'6 with good shooting mechanics, change of pace, and someone that is under the radar.  If he got to play last year and showed what he is capable of doing then he would be an easy lottery pick.

Watch the videos yourself and decide.

Re: so who do you want at #16 & #25 in the draft?

Just to reiterate ... we only have one pick in this draft, #16.

IF we get two picks from the Clippers, they are future picks, meaning to be used in 2014 and 2016.

So stop all this multiple picks this year discussion. There is only one.
