    Some Advice for Avery Bradley

Study and study hard! Pretend you are out there in Rondo’s place and try to make decisions in your mind ahead of him and see which one worked and which ones didn’t.

The goal is for you to see the same plays Rondo sees. Make the same plays he would make. Your playmaking ability starts in your head.

Study some footage of Lindsey Hunter on defense, Derek Fisher on defense, Darrell Armstrong on defense. ( Ball pressure, intensity, physicality and yes, the art of flopping)

Work on your three point shot more than anything else right now. That is a weakness for you right now that will hold your earning potential down until it gets better.

Yeah, and work on your ball handling.  Carry two basketballs with you at all times, and make sure you never let them go even when using the bathroom!

You will never get any serious playing time until you do this.  This was and still is a problem for D.West.  He is able to mask it most nights, but if you pressure him he will still fumble the ball around.  West has improved a lot since his rookie year, but not enough.  I wonder if Bradley's problem is more to do with confidence....   Anyhow, got a lotta time this summer to work on his game, but atleast he has a game where he performed well and that he can build off of.  We could use him next year to play some defense off the bench.

No matter what Bradley does he will never be granted the gift Rondo was given in his 2nd year in the league - his GM gifted him two additional hall of famers.

Bradley will be fine, he has skills and a good coach for now.
