Bynum did only have 7 rebounds.
It's funny that he still out-rebounded every Celtics player tonight.
It's no coincidence that Boston is the WORST rebounding team in the NBA.
Oh yeah, that's probably the referees fault too. -

don't cherry pick stats on a celtics board, you only aggravate people and come off as a troll. plus i wouldn't want people to point out that the celtics got our lakers beat in most of the defensive statistical categories. kind of embarrasing given our coach is a defensive specialist. didn't see that last night. ouch. -

Last night's smackdown of the Lakers in LA showed everyone why the Spurs are the number 1 team in the Western Conference.

Celtics fans are so proud of their defense but they fail to realize that out of the 16 teams that are going to the playoffs, they will be the worst offensive team and worst rebounding team. That's not a formula for success in the playoffs.
Also, Tony Parker has been and is still a better player then Rondo.
He is dominant and not in a way just to get his numbers. -

This is about the lakers vs Spurs, isn't it? Funny how some like to try to deflect it. But, what would you expect - "the lakers are in great shape - we match up very well with both DAL and SA." - MarkfromCt.
Just wondering how many lakers fans still believe that!! -

Lead over Clips is now 1/2 game - EVERY expert says it's very important for the lakers to hold on to #3 seed - why? Because at #3 they get DAL, and at #4, they get MEM - who they do NOT match up well with!! -

The Lakers own the tie breaker with the Clippers, so the Clippers would have to finish 1 game ahead of the Lakers to get the #3 seed. -

They often say offense wins games and defense wins championships...whats the formula for success in the playoffs? Is it any different from the regular season? Why don't you draw it up for me cause I'm curious to know. Just face reality here, the lakers will be done in round 2...if they make it. -

Well - let's see - yesterday you wrote "lakers 4-0 vs DAL and 1-0 vs SA"
And, the lakers lost. So, that would be.................................................................................................................................................... wow - higher math skills here - 1-1 vs SA and still 4-0 vs DAL. So, in order to be correct, you say 5-1 against both, instead of answering the question - are you the LEAST bit concerned about
a) the Spurs
b) losing the 3 seed
you spin it so you won't be wrong
How sad and pathetic you can't admit anything!! -

a) Yes, I am concerned about the Lakers losing the #3 seed. Not as much as I was when OKC was the #1 seed.
b) Yes, I am concerned about the Spurs. The Lakers could lose to OKC, SA, LAC, and Memphis is the playoffs. I am not worried about them facing Denver or Dallas.
They could also beat all 4 of those teams in the playoffs.
Time will tell. -

I'm sure that lakers would not want to play TA and memphis in the first round. Denver or Dallas would be a far easier match-up. It doesn't matter though, even if they get the 3 seed they'll fall to OKC or San Antonio in the 2nd round anyway.
