Gasol gets rebound over Rondo...when the announcers said Gasol might of gotten away with one there...they were right it was a huge uncalled foul. Garnett fouls Kobe....nope a real block. Pierce hacked by Kobe...nope he just lost the ball...even Kobe started to put his hand up on that one....Artest fouled by Pierce...should have been offensive or better yet no call as Artest had dipped his shoulder into Pierce just like all the no calls made the whole game when Kobe and Pierce did it. Gasol went up and down...nope not called. 20 more foul shots....21 foul shots in the 4th quarter..what does it mean.... It means the refs stole this from the Celtics and the lakers won a tainted championship.

    ILets face it this was some of the worst officiating ever seen from start to finish in this series, but it was obvisous the refs were gonna let them play last night. I have to wonder if you would saying anything at all about the refs IF your team had been able to hold on to a 13 point lead and win last nightn Response to Tainted Championship:

    Absolutely. If you don't want the Lakers to have 24 FTs in the 4th quarter of game 7, don't beat the Cavs or the Magic, or don't tank it in the 2nd half of the regular season and finished 7 games behind the Lakers in the standing. Had game 7 been played in Boston, Cleveland or Orlando, the Lakers wouldn't have had 24 FTs in the 4th quarter.

    I too thought that they looked a little tired midway through the 4th quarter getting no lift on their jump shots on open looks.

    This is a tainted championship but it was not the Laker's fault the refs totally blew it. The better team did not win but we can't complain about the Lakers being at fault. I'm sure every Laker fan knows the Celtics would have won it had the refs not handed it to LA. And if it had happened to the Celtics advantage we would be laughing all the way to the podium. But that all being said...

    This is and will remain a tainted champiohship because of very bad reffing in the 4th quarter.

The difference in free throws were for a few reasons. 1) The Celtics got tired in the 4th so they were reaching instead of moving their feet 2) The Celtics didnt go to line because they were shooting from 22 feet away from the basket. 3) The Lakers attacked the rim in the 4th and took advantage of us with limited size. It was not the refs that handed the Lakers the game. The game was up for grabs with 6 mins left and the Lakers took it. Tip your cap to them they won the title fairly.

    Dude, we all tip our hats to the Lakers, but when you get 20 more free throws in the game and 204-140 for the series, makes you wonder. Also, when Celtics arer called for B.S. fouls in the 4th, it makes you wonder the credibility of the NBA.

    I call it being aggressive. If you go to the paint good things happen. Sorry that guys like Ray Allen can only jump shoot and Garnett hardly has a post game.

    Artest was Pierces daddy last night..  played bigger with all the marbles on the line.  Dont like the guy but give him credit.. He stopped the Celtics big game money player and made the crucial plays down the stretch

    If Rondo the great first team defender Rondo could have stayed with a 73 year old Derick Fisher in the 4th of game 3 then it never goes back to LA. The Celtics became a jump shooting team from late in game 5 on. Thats why there was a huge difference in free throws.

    Please explain to me which foul in the 4th you thought was bs. The Kobe 3 was a foul, the Artest 3 point play was a foul.
