Thanks Jiiimmmmyyyyyy!

FRESH off the LA Times Press:

After Monday's practice, Bryant remained defiant about his shot selection.

"I'll do what I do," he said. "If guys are open, I'll kick it to them. If they aren't, I'll shoot it. I play my game."

After Monday's practice, Brown approved that behavior.

Brown has as much "control" over this guy as Phil did!!

Official proof you're a TROLL.

You bring up a completely irrelevant stat in an attempt to boost up Kobe.

TROLL.

Irrelevant stat?
This is about Kobe's shot attempts.
Kobe shoots about the same as other superstars in the league have.

mtrax is on an unprecedented losing streak today or trolling anfd humiliating himself, he claims not to be a Laker fan but has hated on everything possible related to the Celtics

are real ignorant miserable person

playing along with his troll game

Bird - 6.3 assists, 10 rebounds, 89% FT, 50% FG, 38% 3's

Kobe - 4.7 assists, 5.3 rebounds, 84% FT, 45% FG, 38% 3's

Looks like Larry shot the same amount at Kobe, but made more shots from the field and the line, created 2 more shots for others and grabbed twice as many rebounds
In Response to Re: Thanks Jiiimmmmyyyyyy! : Stupid comparison. Bird shot 49.6% from the field in his career. Kobe is just 45.4% in his career and 40.2% this season. You rarely see Bird go 6-28 from the field, because if Bird is not shooting the ball well HE WILL PASS THE BALL!
Posted by Fiercest34
And remember the games were a lot higher scoring back then,  more shots, more rebounds, etc. They didn't have those 89-85 ballgames either.

Kobe is a notorious ball-hog going 1 on 1 with teammates staring as Bird was a notoriously effective shooter who played within the flow of an offense and was one of the most unselfish superstars of all time

Kobe lead the NBA in shot attempts FOUR times

Bird NEVER did

Kobe shot his career 45% in those 4 seasons

In bird's two highest shot attempt seasons he shot 52 and 53% from the field

Kobe may be the 3rd best SG ever behind MJ and West... but he is not a top 10 player ever and is not as good as Bird

If you switched Kobe the player/person with MJ on their respective teams over the  years... MJ would have led the Lakers to 8-9 championships, threatening Russell and never fighting with Shaq.

If you put Kobe on the Bulls he may have won 1-2 titles with Pippen

Michael Jordan led the league in fga 9 times.

You fools miss the point that teams WANT their best players shooting the ball.
Do you care who leads the NHL in shots on goal or the NFL in passing attempts?
Is a pitcher with 250 IP a ball hog?

There is a reason why Bill Russell didn't shoot the ball frequently...
He was a terrible shooter.

There's a reason why the Lakers aren't winning very often anymore.

It's because they blow.

I think you meant to say Wheelchair Pierce is who misses a lot.
His career fga is lower then 45%.
And that is with shooting tons of wide open shots from passes from Rondo.

we comparing Pierce to Kobe now?

they are closer in career FG% than Kobe is to MJ and Bird... who are both around 50%

Kobe is somewhere between 14-19 in all-time players.

Pierce is probably in the 35-45 range.

Bird in the top 6

MJ tied with Russell for #1

Pierce is not a superstar. Get real.
How many times has he finished in the top 5 of MVP voting? 0
How many scoring titles? 0

Paul looks dreadfully slow this year.

You are so infatuated with shooting percentage.
Since when did a high fg% equate to greatness? (see kendrick perkins)

Kobe is a superstar and an all time great player.
Paul Pierce is not even close to Kobe.

Paul Pierce is similar to Clyde Drexler.
