    So what you are saying.....the NBA is fixed & fraud?
    The added rules simply a re-inforcement to already fixed games.

    Some die hard fans are blind. Nba-stern & the refs can't do nothing wrong.

    If  few posters of "tainted championship" thinks the 4th quarter was the dagger, they haven't seen it yet. The new rules... you are not allowed to breath and play your towel or you lose the games.

    our threads being read by anyone out there making rules... not a chance

    the NBA Finals being fixed last June to go 7 and deliver LA the title at all costs... even as Kome went 6-24 and C's built a 13 point lead... 100% true

    The new rules being mostly b/c of the Celtics... highly probable

    The higher ups hate our team, I have no idea why, if I was not a Celtics fan I would like a club of blue-collar defensive guys with an electric triple double young PG, classy soon to be all-time leading 3 point shooter in history, guy who recovered from a stabbing, suffered thru terrible teams and spent his entire career with one club and an intense old school top 5 player in the game for a decade (99-08) putting it all on the line to win one more time

    Certainly the casual fan of the sport roots for that over a disgusting human being like Kobe and his glitzy porn owner, fragile selfish Center, ugly llama PF, league psychopath and thug SF and career underachiver enigma 6th man...

    Only guy you can like on LA is Fisher

    but thats just me

    So glad the NBA had an agenda to deliver the title to the most hated team with 2 of the 4 most hated players

    Depends upon which team your rooting for ....

    The NBA can't sell "defense" and prefers the glitz and glamour of offense, cheerleaders and a stardtudded audience. It provides bigger audiences and more advertising $ and hence a bigger TV contract. Follow the money!

    I don't see the logic of the premise. Please explain. The tainted championship had nothing to do with technical foul calls. It had to do with incompetent officials.

    Stop smoking bad stuff, he could care less about a Celtic Blog.

    The tech issue is window dressing to cover poor game calling, or worse, occasional game manipulation in the name of marketing. If the players don't highlight the bad calls, they are not as obvious to a lot of fans.

    Star calls are a way of life in the NBA with certain players getting dramatic advantages, and some players getting small advantages, in the name of marketing NBA heroes. Heroes have been part of the marketing plan since at least Bird and Magic. Hero calls have been dramatic since Michael Jordan.

    i agree w/ umbutu. also, from the fan's perspective, these new guidelines will serve to put more whining players in a bad light. as the lockout approaches, the owners want whatever fan support advantage they can get. more manipulation by stern.

    You will like it even less when they let KOME  continue his swinging of the fists at the ref when someone breathes on him and they don' call a foul.  Or when Lebrat goes into his giration and not tee is called.  It will happen a lot.  Kind of like traveling or palming,  they will only call it on the "non superstars" .  Kome will get a few tees, he always does but he won't get near as many as he is suppose to get.
