this is what winning team looks like

    my ideal scenario:

trade sully, bradley, bogans(non-guarranteed), anthony and top 5 pick for Kevin Love

    draft stauskas/napier via brooklyn's pick

trade rondo and bass for asik and multiple picks?

use the stretch provision on wallace

    and then...

    throw a multi-year, eight-figure deal at stephenson

sign paul pierce to a 2 year deal

    napier(1m)/pressey(.5m)

    stephenson(12m)/johnson(1m)

    green(9m)/pierce(5mm)

    love(15m)/oly(2m)

    asik(15m)/fav(2m)

I like it Ticket but my fear is that Love agreeing to come to Boston might depend on Rondo being here?

I thought love wants to play for the Cs and he likes stevens a lot.

not bad. The Green/Pierce position is a problem, one stinks and one is too old.

But, overall, kind of a cool lineup. Not sure how feasible but....

Your fears are very warranted. No Rondo = No KLove. And visa versa.  The ONLY reason to bring in Kevin Love is to pair him with Rondo. The ONLY reason Rondo re-signs here is if Danny gets another All-Star to pair with Rondo.

Re: this is what winning team looks like

    This is my preference:

Trade Rondo to the Lakers for Nash and the 7th pick.

At 6, draft Vonleh.  If Vonleh is not there, draft Randle.  I know we're stacked at PF, but never pass on a talented big.

    At 7, draft Marcus Smart.

At 17, draft T.J. Warren - needs to really work on his perimeter game, but he ability to create his own shot is eerily like Paul Pierce.  If he works on his perimeter game - like AB did - then this guy will be a devastating scorer.

Clear as much future cap space as possible - Green and Bradley gone.

Starting lineup next year:  Sullinger PF, Vonleh C, Warren SF, Smart PG, Johnson SG.

Let's go for the No. 1 pick next year and then talk about free agents and trades.
