If the Celts are going to lose Sully, Oly, James Young, Smart, and a future 1st round pick for Kevin Love, are you guys OK with that?
i don't think that would be the players...maybe sully or oly and draft picks maybe 2or 3 picks...we don't even know who would be the 3rd team yet? who knows what the other teams want for their players...

No need for links because I'm just asking if the Kevin Lovers are willing to pay the price.

If you're willing to pay the price then just answer "yes", if not then answer "no".

This is not a trade proposal, just a simple question.
but what is the price? you can't throw those players names in as the price...what if the 3rd team wants more picks than players?

Celts already tried #6, #17, Sully or Oly, and a future 1st rounder for Kevin Love.

But the Wolves were not interested.

I'm also not sure if other teams are really excited about trading for Bass or Jeff Green.
that's why we have to get players from other teams to go to the wolves...

NO , I AM DEFINITELY NOT OK WITH THAT.......

THAT WOULD COMPLETELY SUCK TO GIVE AWAY ALL THA TALENT FOR KEVIN LOVE, IMAGINE IF HE GOT HURT ?

JUST NOT OK WITH GIVING UP ALL THAT YOUNG TALENT FOR KEVIN LOVE, HE'S KEVIN LOVE, NOT KEVIN GARNETT !

Re: To Kevin Lovers: Are you willing to overpay?

The Celtics offer of Sully or Oly, #6 pick, #17 pick, and a future 1st rounder was a good offer that would only fall behind the Warriors' offer with Klay Thompson included.

It's still possible the Wolves will trade Love to the Celts.

But the Celts would have to overpay.

The question is are the Celtics willing to overpay for Kevin Love?

No.  Kevin Love is not a franchise altering player.  Let's see how Sully and Olynyk develop this season before we trade them, shall we?

Apparently some here are content to be just a playoff team.

It appears DA is willing to trade for K. Love - If DA thinks K. Love is worth the price the Wolves are asking - that is good enough for me!

Re: To Kevin Lovers: Are you willing to overpay?

I'm not willing to overpay for anyone... KLove/Melo/LBJ/Rondo included.

Why go in debt  and hurt long term prospects?

That's not how I manage my own finances.

Sustainable excellence is the goal, and overpaying doesn't get us there.

Smart drafting (no pun intended) and  skillful talent development are the keys to becoming competitive... and staying competitive.

Rondo and Love does not equal Pierce and Garnett.  It's a pale shadow of those two.
