    21. DJ White (C)

Guys in italics are non-guarenteed as of this minute. Guys in bold are guarenteed salary

I'd be a complete waste of money to let Iverson walk after outright buying his pick. We desperately need a backup PG (or starting if you think Rondo's held out) to not sign Pressey. I think the Celtics would like to keep Shav. I don't see DJ coming back. Latest word on HoopsHype is 90% chance they sign Faverani, the Brazilian center. I really like Tony Mitchell so far, and I've always wanted them to give Joseph a chance.

    Man, tooooo mannny bodiiiies

Fierce, tomorrow (the 10th) the trade can become official right? Do you know if Danny can make some of those additional moves same-day? I can't wait until Humphries gets moved.

I really hope they do keep Pressey. And I wish we had room for Mitchell and Joseph, but you're probably right about that.

Iverson will head to Europe and the Celts will retain his rights.  I am very curious about the next set of moves from Danny.

I agree Fab isn't ready, but you can't cross him out. The C's aren't going to waive him yet, so he's taking up one of those 15 spots. Danny likes to go into the season with 13 spots filled. I really hope Danny can move the brooklyn bodies to make room for some of these new guys (Mitchell, Pressey, Iverson). I'm not convinced Colton's playing in Europe, yet.

True true. My eyes lied to me. I was just guessing that he's on our team because it sounds like it'll happen.

I wish we could take Olynyks skill and put it into Fab's body.

I can't wait to see Olynyk and Sully play together. I have a feeling it'll be special, but I'm concerned that neither of them are Centers or defensive specialists.

+1 The thing is that Olynyk looks like an adaptable player. Very dynamic and could switch positions quite easily and so is Sully. I hope Iverson is not sent to Europe. He seems to be built like a rock and we could use that...Melo has a good touch but he can miss fundamentals like a simple fake.. My thing is the whole Shooting Guards. They are small. We need a big SG or a big SF.

    Re: Too Many Bodies

It's way to early to tell, since we don't even have the nits players until 7/12. There is a couple of  months between Orlando and the beginning of camp. I think a couple of players are dealt or go to D league some may stick but not here. The players I see playing in the NBA even if not on this team are ; Mitchell, Pressey,Melo,Iverson and Randolph. Who knows what DA has up his sleeves. It's summer league, but I really like what I see of Tony Mitchell, I think he could very well be the next D League success story. I also like Pressey more each game I see him even if he isn't on the opening day roster we may see him in the near future. Iverson is a guy who may not make it this season but definately is going carve a niche for himself somewhere. Melo maybe a player someday and I've at least seen some of things that compelled us to draft but,I just think the learning curve might be too steep for him to ever be a player for us. Sometimes Melo shows some skills that equate to the NBA level but he has almost no instincts at all and constantly has think of everything he is doing on the court, which usually is a bad thing at this level.

Without knowing what style we are going to play it's hard to judge which player is the fit. Sometimes fitting in a system and role that needs to be filled has more to do with who sticks and who doesn't than just pure talent. I find it puzzling that White,Randolph and Crawford aren't on the summer roster though.

BTW, as long as we are talking about curious moves the Bucks traded away Luc Mbah a Moute to Sacramento for a 2nd. round pick.  I don't see their salary pressure.  They are probably going to sign & trade Montae Ellis.  They have signed OJ Mayo and have to deal with Brandon Jennings.  Still, they will be way below the cap.  Looks like they will also be making moves.

Probably better offers out there, but I wouldn't be opposed to a S&T for Ellis involving Bass, Crawford and Brooks. Seems like whoever is running the Bucks is doing it blind, so maybe there is opportunity there.

If we could get Ellis for 8M per, that would be interesting. Backup Rondo, scoring off the bench. He is a baller.

Maybe im wrong but cant wallace play big sg and jeff big sf? Also Lee and Brooks are bigger shooting guards, 6'5... is that small? Bogans is also 6'5, Joseph 6'7

I think Danny needs to clean house with the SG situation so well all know what we are left with. I dont know how he's going to turn Crawford, Brooks, Bogans and Joseph into one good SG.

As I play various scenarios in my mind, I would not mind converting Rondo and Humphries/Wallace into Brandon Jennings and Andre Drummond.  Throw in Bass if you wish.  I just think that Danny is serious about tanking this year while rebuilding with young players.  He will trade Rondo for the right return.

If it were me to start it would be....

    PG - Rondo, Pressey
    SG - Bradley, Lee, Brooks,

    SF - Green, Wallace, Mitchell

    PF - Olynyk, Sullinger, Bass

C - Humphries, Randolph, Melo, Iverson

Positions I am sure would change as the season goes on.

KO over Sully? I mean i like him but he hasnt even played in a NBA game yet...Sully played in NBA games and looked good while KO hasnt had that chance. Dont pump him up so much or youre gonna be disappointed if he doesnt start.

He won't start immediately, but Olynyk is better than Sullinger.

Remember, Courtney Lee was a very good player before coming to the Celts.

Maybe he just didn't fit in with Doc's system.

Sorry Fierce, but Lee was never a "very good player". He was better than in the postseason for the Cs but he was always not more than a decent complimentary player.

Yeah Im sure nobody would mind that switch!  Except the Pistons who WILL NOT BE TRADING ANDRE DRUMMOND!  He is one of the most coveted young players in the league, has TONS of potential, and is still on a rookie contract, sooooo....

We would be lucky if that package netted us just Monroe, or just Jennings.  But we arent getting two rising stars for Rondo and those bad contracts.
