    Traded Player Exception

Have we, in fact, utilized the TPE we got for Pierce?  There are no reports that suggest we used it in the Cleveland deal.  It is also still available on the updated Trade Machine on ESPN.COM.

Have we used it?  Where's Fierce?

    Yup!

Thornton 8.6m and Zeller 1.7m will total 10.3m.

    Better than that Petey.

By getting Thornton, Ainge has extended the time to make another move with the $8.7MM salary that he has to trade for another player by the end of the season. No longer any rush. He can take his time and turn over as many stones as he needs until a good trade is found.

    Regards!
