This  helps LA.
Cleveland will fall further out of playoff contention without Varejao.
Cleveland might as well then trade Sessions for a 1st round pick and not have to take back any salary.

Sessions won't help them that much, anyway.  Mike Brown does NOT have the stones to bench Derek Fisher!!  Sessions will play about as much as Goudelock or Blake - Fisher will still be in the game at crunch time.
Thanks Jimmy!!

Are you now a Lakers expert?
Of course Fisher will be benched.
If Sessions is playing well, he would play 30 minutes/game.
Thanks Jimmy for dumping Odom and for keeping Bynum!!!
LA should sign Arenas. If he doesn't work out, they release him.
He will only make $600k if he signed now.

If Arenas gives LA 15 and 8, they don't need Sessions.
Wouldn't it be funny if Lin and Arenas are the best pick ups this season.
That would be a Celtics nightmare.
In Response to Re: Varejao Out Indefinitely : Why waste money on Arenas when the last time he played he couldn't even play PG?  In Orlando he was a SG, remember?
Posted by Fiercest34
Arenas had the same procedure done on his knees that Kobe had.
If he is healthy, that would be a great addition at cheap money.

Boston has 6 players older then Arenas...
In Response to Re: Varejao Out Indefinitely : 15 and 8? Arenas can't even run like a PG anymore. The last time I saw him play for Orlando, in the playoffs, all he did was shoot. He was moving like Derek Fisher. If you're expecting Arenas to be able to still score in double figures in the NBA then you're dreaming.

Arenas issue was his knees.
Did you not read that he had the "Kobe Procedure" in Germany?

I like and  am sure LA likes Rondo's game.
They will not give up Gasol or bynum for him?
What about a trade exception and 2 1st round picks for Rondo?
All you guys think this year draft is "so deep"....

Cleveland is on their way to another loss today...
The Clippers are on their way to another victory...
It looks like the Clippers 1st round pick will be about #25.

The biggest ball hog of all time was Michael Jordan.
How did that work out...???

Even you know better then this.
Without Gasol LA is still over the cap.
LA does not want to shed the contracts of Gasol/Bynum/Kobe.

The Celtics may want to trade their Clippers pick now if it is 25.  I think Danny is going to have to move without a doubt now.

Focus Factor...just a suggestion.
Stick to two or three topics if you can.
In Response to Re: Varejao Out Indefinitely : Listen, this is important. If the Lakers didn't want to shed contracts then why did they back out of the CP3 deal? Stern was only asking the Lakers to take in more players/contracts. If the Lakers truly wanted CP3 then they would have accepted the other players/contracts. I mean CP3 is the best or 2nd best PG in the NBA right now. Why else would the Lakers back out of that deal if what they really wanted was CP3? Common sense, Gina!
Posted by Fiercest34
Stern cancelled the trade then LA had to walk away because it became rificulous. Stern wanted Lowry from Houston, multiple additional 1st round picks from LA and Houston and other young players that were never named publically.

The trade was cancelled by Stern not because LA didn't want salary but because Stern wanted younger players instead of mostly veterans. LA probably does not want Scola's contract because of what he is being paid in 2013-2014 and 2014-2015.
