Wallace-Lee-Sully for Okafor and Glen Rice Jr

    What do you think?

Hump and Okafor will give us 26 million in expiring contracts and beef up our team.

Glen Rice will help our deep threat.

I know that. Physicals can be waived.

Indefinitely is not the same as career ending.

Washington is not taking long-term contracts like Wallace.  They want to keep the cap space for next year.

Foolish. Washington has the same trouble as Boston attracting free agents. They need to acquire high quality locked up players through trade.

How is Okafor going to beef up the Celtics front line if he is out indefinitely?

So, Wallace and Lee are high quality players?

Is that why you want Boston to dump them for a guy with a herniated neck?

Wallace, lee and sully could help the wiz to make a run this year.

Why even think about trading Sullinger ?

He's part of our exciting young core....his upside is borderline All-Star & double digit rebounder for the next 6-8 years

COME ON Ainge , reveal your masterplan ! The preseason starts in 3 weeks and the roster is still not set.

Hump, Bogans, Bass, Lee , Wallace are our trading assets...................what gives ?

As far as trading Sully goes...He is the true key player that draws interest in taking on Wallace and Lee's overpriced contracts. IMO.

Ultimately we are trying to upgrade from Sullinger to Kevin Love or Lamarcus Aldridge.

News flash.  Noone wants lee.  Noone wants bogans in any shape way or form.  Bogans got 5 mil simply to make the trade numbers even.  He is the luckiest man in the nba.  Noone wants bass very much.  Noone but noone, and i mean noone, wants wallace's god awful contract.  This is the team we are going to start the season with fellas, for better or worse.  It should be entertaining to watch, maybe educational.  Do not hold out hope for any trades until the deadline is approaching.

Do you remember when we acquired an overpaid shot blocker named Theo Ratliff? Without Ratliffs expiring contract no Kevin Garnett!!!

Some trades when rebuilding are financial trades that allow you to then make BASKETBALL trades.

Re: Wallace-Lee-Sully for Okafor and Glen Rice Jr

The Wiz do want to make a run at the playoffs and the Okafor injury is a major concern for them.  However, this trade does nothing to alleviate that concern - they have beal at the 2 and just drafted Porter at the 3 so why would they want Lee & Wallace's contracts.

I am not saying the Washington would jump at this but an option would be to offer them Hump + whatever makes the numbers work for Okafor and future draft picks.  Not a perfect fit for the Wiz as they still need ot move Nene to C but they may feel Humph next to him at 4 is better than the in-house alternatives (assumin gthey think Ok may be out a long time).  All a matter of what else the C's could get in thjis type of swap that will pay off down the road for giving them Humphries as, I believe, both he and Okafor are expiring contracts.  Just a thought.

If we give them Hump they better make it worth our while. He is better than Okafor.

Only in Boston do fans of the game try to unload their baggage on another team and consider a good deal for the other team.  Notice you did not include any draft picks....blink2
