Bradley has enough guys behind him that he no longer has to worry about pulling back on defense.

Turner should be part of this rotation and run the offense when Rondo is off the floor or we are giving the D a new look for a key basket.

1st team: Rondo,Bradley,Green,Sullinger, Faverani(If healthy and he can stretch the D)

    2nd team: Smart,Turner,Thornton,Olynyk, Zeller

3rd team: Pressey,Young,Wallace,Bass, Anthony (vet crunch time players+ next generation backcourt)

Turner and Smart love to attack the basket, so playing with players that are a threat from distance will keep the floor open.

    Vs Miami:

    We have the best backcourt.(Rondo,Bradley,Turner,Smart,Thornton,Pressey)

We have the best sf position (Green AND Wallace, both can guard Deng)

We have an inferior pf postion ( Bosh and Haslem better than Sully and Bass/Olynyk)

We have an equal center position (Fav,Zeller, and Anthony are similar to Oden and Anderson)

We don't have to trade anybody. We have 15 guys now minus Babb and Johnson, who didn't improve their games over the summer.

    Vs Cavs

We have the deeper backcourt (Irving and Waiters is all they have)

We have two 1st rate defenders at the small forward in Green and Wallace to slow down Lebron. (I even think Smart could guard Lebron!)

That is all of their quality players. Who else is worthy of listing or comparing to our guys?

We can call them that after they try to beat each other senseless in the locker room.

I foresee at least one time when Turner, Thornton, and Bradley all have a scrum on the court trying to pull the ball out of each others hands.

Don't worry DaC, with the lineup Danny LeStrange GM is fusing together we'll be doing just what you want...capitulating to the rest of the NBA early and often!

Cavs have LeBron... and that's enough.

Though I do agree that if the Celtics decide at this point that tanking is no longer productive or the best way to lure free agents next off season that they will be better than many here predict.

Come next off-season, if the C's go ahead with scheduled salary dumps for guys who stink and/or do not produce at an acceptable, winning NBA manner, they COULD attract one or two very good FA's that would be a major step forward in their return to yearly excellence...let's hope Danny LeStrange GM doesn't screw the pooch and that the owners loosen the purse strings.

There are really no decent free agents next offseason to try to lure. Marc Gasol and Rondo are the only two difference makers that will be avail. If you can even call those two "difference makers"

^Lol. Still Rondo is tops in the free agent pool next year. As my friend Steve Brule would say "Check it out!"

Again, lol. What is sad is the Celtics picked a horrible year to go into Free Agent season with lots of cap space.

First Tier: Duncan (too old & not going anywhere) Ginobili (not. Going anywhere) Aldridge (already said he wants to sign an extension in Portland), Rondo, Marc Gasol (possible, but why does he choose the Celtics? He will have numerous teams chasing him, and Memphis can offer the most $.)

Second Tier: Rudy Gay (why would we want him?), Deandre Jordan (Maybe), Paul Milsap (redundant), Omer Asik (Maybe, he will again be overpaid for what he brings)

Third Tier: Gerald Green, Robin Lopez

    the rest is fairly useless.
