We should send Doc down to the D league..

So he can actually work on his coaching and maturity issues.

He'll be the highest paid coach there too.

As enticement, we give  him coach-emeritus status while in training....

And hire someone to provide adult supervision (exactly like the Boy Scouts enjoy) in Beantown while awaiting docs eventual return to the parent club.

Put Doc on the back of a trash truck and see if he has it so bad. I can't coach if i don't have a team to win a championship. Maybe he's thinking a not so good team makes him a not so good coach. Get out of town !!!  Loser !!

LOL, I do like this idea I must say. Doc has his qualities as a coach and we can argue the small stuff but he signed a 5 year contract when..eh...well, things would just unfold as they are now...KG getting old, Paul Pierce getting old etc...this window closing as we all talked about. A lot has happened with the Celtics but the signing of a 5 year contact at that point in the Celtics cycle has baffled me more than anything else.

Did he do the math wrong?

Did he think he could re-enact Weekend At Bernie's with some of these guys?

I'll never ever understand why he signed for 5 years at that point in the Celtics cycle.
