Welcome to Garnett University of Hard Knocks

    http://network.yardbarker.com/all_sports/article_external/kevin_garnett_spends_20_minutes_in_socks_helping_ryan_hollins_work_on_post_moves/10480912

"Garnett drilled the youngster, taking him through a series of back-down post moved in which he banked him in the chest and thrust him off balance. Garnett then took off his sneakers to use as props in a post-play demonstration, and proceeded to go through the next 15 minutes of drills in socks with brace around one ankle, while Hollins maintained the high tops."

The article says the workout lasted several hours...If this guy starts to come around by play-offs, he could be our solution to the rebounding woes plauging the celts, along with the Steimer grabbing caroms, and having block parties..if he can gives an semblance to Wilcox's efforts... maybe we wont have to rely on midget ball so much...

Not really surprised by this.  Thanks for posting it.  I am sure that KG has helped other players in the past to try to improve.

Yes, but this time, we really need this guy to take this crash course, seriously and contribute in some capacity....other wise, i just don't think "our little team" can sustain the rigors of the play-offs....But he did do wonders with the Steimer, so there is hope. and this guy is not a rookie, has a motor, atheltic, so hopefully he can pick things up a little faster..who knows...

Doc has to play him not cut his minutes as he has the last two games for him to really move forward. These next two games will be like playoff games, so let's hope Doc lets Steimsma help more.

Doc has to win games.  I don't want to miss the playoffs and lose more games because he's trying to teach Steimsma or teach Ryan.   All it takes is for us to have 4 or 5 more losses while Philly and NY win.....and we're dead.   While many say we'll lose in the first or second round, anyway - I sure as heck would like to see us make it and at least try to win in the playoffs!

About the playoffs:  Better to have played and lost than not to have played at all!
