Actually you are right, the pick does not guarentee a top ten pick as I eroneously thought.

    2011-12 is not looking great...

    PP - back
    Ray - back
Rondo - back (but needs offseason psych therapy)
KG - back (unless lockout and/or Doc leaves)
Shaq - back (but for how long?)
JO - back (starting 5 or trade bait?)
    Dwest - back
BBD - back (have to resign now)
Green - back (but can't pay him & BBD big money to come off bench, so must determine role)
Sasha - back (unless he has a poor playoffs, he could be a cheap option to fill Daniels' role)
Krstic - maybe (been making me miss Semih lately, so your call)
Von Wafer - maybe (could be trade throw-in)
    Bradley - gone (trade bait)
    Murphy - gone
    Arroyo - gone
    --------------------------
Doc - gone (this year was supposed to easier than last, so don't think the Big 3 & DA can persuade him this time)
    DA - back
    Frank - back

In fact, it guarantees the exact opposite. HUGE difference.

And we have a PG who hasn't entered his prime???? Do you mean that he can become even more erratic and tempermental?

With the exception of dimes  and steals, all other stats indicate that his game is seriously declining.

Do not know if Rondo is in his prime or not, but the very fact he can not score on a consistent basis is whats killing this team. He needs to somehow get his shot going and we can have teams playing 5 feet off him because they know he is afraid to shoot the ball.

Did I miss the bus? Since when has the order of the universe ever deemed brick would have a 'prime' time?

With the exception of Dimes, steals, defensive rating, and shooting percentage. His stats are declining.

meaning his free throws have dropped. Not to worreid, that'll be going up in the next year or two.

Yes, you missed the short bus. You really should be on it.

No team at all... remember the lock-out?

    The year after next....

Doc retires, KG retires, and the Celitcs become the Caveliers.

Enjoy this year, because it will be atleast another ten years before they can compete again at the highest level.

Meaning that nearly everything has dropped including PPG, FTA, FT%, FGA, FGM, FG%.

This kid is getting to the line less that 2 times a game, down an astounding 50% from last year. FT% has never been worse. Has stopped taking the ball to the rim and drawing fouls.

His FG% shooting has regressed back to year two of his career. PPG back to year  two also.

Confidence in shot appears to have hit an all time low.

In Response to Re: What kind of team will we see next year? : You seem to be a newbie here. Rondo has been the most bitterly, divisive issue over the past two years by a wide margin. Go back into the archives. Its all there. Pud

I would not but I would certainly find a guy who has great potential to compete with RR for the SPG role within a month or so into the season next year.
