Keepers. NBA Leaders Statistically = Sullinger - Lee - Crawford
He sees that Sullinger is an efficient scorer and rebounder with a team high and top 20 league PER of 22+. By far statistically the best player on the team per 40 minutes played. Sullinger will not be traded. Not no way. Not no how. He is the top 5 pick he was projected to be prior to his injury. The steal of the draft. He is only playing 20MPG because Stevens already knows that he is the PF future of the Celtics. ...So Bass is getting more minutes to showcase for an inevitable trade. Count on it.
He sees that Lee is also productive at both ends of the floor. With a team second best 20+ PER, shooting 55% FG%, virtually no turnovers he is only playing 17 MPG. Why? Because Bradley is being showcased for a trade. Lee will be pegged as the #2 SG on the depth chart. He is better than you all think. Better than Bradley. He will not be traded.
Speaking of Bradley. Not only is he too small to play SG at 6'1", he can't shoot from the outside (a horrentous 20% from 3 point territory for a SG!!) and he is a turnover machine (leading the team). He is playing 30 MPG, taking more shots than anyone on the team and only copntributing 12 PPG. He has a below league average of 12 PER which is worse than 7 other Celtics players. DA did not extend his contract for a reason. Bradley is being showcased and will be traded. Count on it.
Crawford. Statistics don't lie. The guy is shooting 40% from 3 point land, is the 3rd leading scorer on the team. Excellent turnover ratio. Leading the team by far with 5 APG (Bradley has 1.4). He is a very capable/deep long term backup at PG who can also provide a spark at SG.
Doing OK. Nothing Special (all about 15 PER, or league average statistically): Green (trade bait), Bass (trade priority), Fav (capable backup at Center), Hump (expiring contract).
Bad. Statistically Failing = Bradley (trade bait), Wallace, terrible 9.7 PER (highest trade priority but will require Rondo or Green to move him), and Oly, terrible 9.7 PER (statiscally the best rebounder on the team but needs lots of development to play PF)
