“I’ve got confidence that with all these picks and these young guys and our willingness to spend money that we can get there,” he said. “We’re a patient group. We will take a multiyear plan if that’s what it takes. But I think this June there could be some fireworks. I think this June we’ve got so many pieces to this puzzle that we might be able to shake loose a real piece or two for this team going forward. So, I’m hoping it’s sooner rather than later.”

"but I think this June there COULD be some fireworks". "we've got so many pieces to this puzzle that WE MIGHT BE ABLE to shake loose a piece or two" - Wyc

"That's why expectations were so high" - Fierce

Cause people turned those statements into what they'd rather hear? There's nothing definitive being said there. Just some maybes. Are you defending people with comprehension problems? Then again, in our convo last night, you had gotten it wrong as well. You had said, Wyc said there "would"" be fireworks. And as you can see for yourself, that's not what he actually said.

I had forgotten all about your Rondo/Draft night prediction. Is that why you're so up-in-arms? You didn't get to wave your banner on Thursday night. Has anyone smeared it in your face? bumped old posts up for a reminder to everyone of your failed prediction? Or even made statements like "A source not so reliable said blah, blah, blah"? Just wondering, cause I certainly wouldn't. It's juvenile.

    +1000 again

    Hahaha

I have thrown his horribly blown 'Rondo traded on draft night' prediction in his face.

I also have brought up the fact that he would have picked Gary Harris (whose drop I foresaw in telling Fiercy he was undersized and overrated) and Doug McDermott over Gordon, Vonleh and Randle and mentioned his saying picking Gordon in the top 10 to be 'idiotic' a few times, after the next Shawn Marion went 4th.

Of course I have not dragged up old threads and acted the juvenile bully Fiercy has. Even while being on vacation this week I don't have the time to frantically posts hundreds of times a day like fiercy waving his banner, puffing his chest out and desperately trying to get the only feelings of self worth he can find in the world on an internet forum his has made his entire life.

I will stick with knowing what I post in threads 99% of the time is the truth and anything that is not is a harmless accident, without having to dig back into the past to try to attack and demean others as he does. Occasionally I will, if someone flat out lies and needs a reminder, but I win 95% of my arguments with Fiercy anyhow just typing more intelligent fact based basketball comments without having to resort to his twisting, squirming, topic changing goal-post moving smear campaigns.
