Where is the Celtic defense?

Re: Where is the Celtic defense?

Look we are in a deep adjustment period.  The problem this period is not close to showing any sign of easing.  So many guys are new, even more guys who were not traded are hurt, we have to deal with a lot of adjustment.  If we can beat by the Clips don't be surprised if we don't get beaten by Philly and the Bucks.  These teams play us hard like it is their whole season.

We have guys playing who are tired and trying to adjust.  We need to be prepared for some more games like last night's I am afraid.

One thing with all these injured and tired bodies is why is Jeff Green not being more utilized by the offense when we are so flat?

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Where is the Celtic defense? : There just coasting because unlike the desperate lakers they don't have to play catch up! Good luck with that third seed.

Coasting before the playoffs sounds like a great strategy.

You Laker fans must really be worried about the C's.  There are as many of you guys as there are us.  Get your shots in while you can cause your winning and our losing won't last that long.

There is way to much concern about defense here. It is only one game, and the Celtics mailed it in. If it happens against good teams, then start worrying.

The only team that should give us trouble on defense moving forward is the Lakers large front line.

I have a wait and see attitude for that series.

players are humans and not machines, so it can happen some mental "downtime" when playing "minor" teams..... that's all

[QUOTE]A lot of our defense went to OKC- whether anyone wants to admit it or not.

    One question:

How was our defense when Perk was sidelined most of this season and the Celtics were still one of the top defensive teams in the NBA?

Thats a tough one to explain
