    Who is JON similar to in his Celtics career?

      Seems more and more likely that Jermaine's Celtic career is at an end.  Whether or not he ever plays again remains to be seen
    So, I was reminded of an ex-Celtic who had a very similar "end" to his days as a Celtic.
    First one to get it correct (IMO) gets 2 bonus points.

    The person I'm thinking of is similar to JON in many ways, except he did play in college.....................but not for four years!!


    Hint - he is a guy Pitino said was "stealing" money!!   (same as JON)

    Most of the players being compared to JO were good players until injuries/demons derailed their careers.  Let's not forget that JO was a dominant player for a long time.  I think he was a risky choice for the MLE given his injury history, but it was never intended that he be a starting 5 on this team when he was signed.  Trading Perk magnified just how much the JO and Shaq signings were a risk.

    Gilmore had an awesome career.  Way better than JON"s.  He averaged over 12 boards a game for his career.

    He was just old when he came here. Not his fault.  I dont think JON is going to the HOF anytime soon.

    Guy was bow legged ... he couldn't run the floor at all ... he had to walk fast.
