Let's see, 3 straight Finals appearances, back-to-back titles, and 5 Championships in 12 years. They will have a stinker here and there. The Great Showtime Lakers in the 80's were swept by the Sixers in 83', choked a title away in 84', and were dispatched out of the playoffs by the weaker Rockets in 81' and 86' as well as the lower seeded Suns in 90'.
When was the last time the Celtics have a back-to-back? Oh yeah, 1969, years before any of the current Celtics players were even born!

Last time the celtics went back to back......there was no 3pt shot, no free agency, 9 teams in the league (lmao), the ABA was in existance, in the playoffs you could get byes (lmao), when Wilt entered the NBA only
4 players were taller than 6-8, and last but not least the Rolling Stones still had to show I.D to buy a drink!
