[QUOTE]Because NO ONE in LA reads the Times sports section OR goes on line to chat with their fellow Faker fans. Ever log on to the Times? It used to be a world class newspaper until that putz in Chicago bought it and ran it into the ground. What passes for sports coverage out here is a pathetic subservience to the local teams, regardless of record. The 'fans' are as pitiful as many of the posters to this forum.
Their favorite insightful comment on a team is ALWAYS, "It's all about the fill in the blank"! Or, the fill in the blank suck! Faker fans have no sense of 'their' team's history, and when their teams don't win, they drop them like high school chemistry. So pity the fools* that come on to the Celtics Forum. They have no place else to go!** * B.A. Baracus - The A Team ** Richard Gere - An Officer and A Gentleman

That's funny that a Boston fan should call LA fans pathetic. Boston fans have to be the worst in the country.
The C's were irrelevant for over 20 years, but one trade to complete the "new big 3" and all of you act like you've never skipped a beat. (That's going to change soon.)
It took the Red Sox 86 years to become relevant and win another World Series. But to hear them talk, they're one of the "greatest baseball dynasties". During that stretch, LA area teams won 7 World Series titles. (Actually, they accomplished that in a span of less than 50 years.)
The Patriots needed help against the Raiders to win their first Lombardi trophy (yes, it WAS a fumble) and with two more wins, all of you act like your the greatest football dynasty. Sorry, The Niners, Packers and Steelers were the only TRUE dynasties.
The Boston Bruins, like the Celtics before them, have become irrelevant since their last Stanley Cup in '71-72, a span of nearly 40 years.
Boston fans think the world revolves around their teams.
