It will probably cost at least the mid level to get oden. Someone will pay it. The question is do we want to role the dice? We WON"T get him for the vet min.

I am fine with the MLE. Yoy can sign him to a two year deal and having the MLE for next year.

Oden will get more than the vet's minimum and maybe at least a 2-year deal from other teams.

Could we get Bynum on a firesale 1 yr and not more than two rolling the dice gamble ? Albeit young, he was injury prone in LA and who knows after this last season off in Philly if he can return to the level where he beat us in game 7 in 2010. Wonder if his layoff too could be part mental ?

Andrew Bynum will never agree to a 1 year deal and there will be teams desperate enough to give Bynum close to the max.

    Sad but true!

No Bynum either. He is a head case, a quitter, and a dirty player. C's don't need that.

You may be right.  Any team that does sign him is taking a big chance.  He could have another disappointing season similar to last season in Philadelphia.

    A. Bynum destroyed what little credibility he had left in the league last year! He can't play basketball but he can bowl! Go figure!!

Now his agent is trying to get him a max deal! Good luck with that!!
