Will this Laker disaster start result in another coach this season?

At some point the Lakers if Nash can't get them winning, will fire D'Antoni and bring Phil in? Disaster isn't the right word for the lakers,  it is a nuclear disaster.

I know what you are saying but Phil would have taken the job and there is Jeanie and Jerry still in the equation.  The lakers are desperate,  they will try everything at this point, their players can't play defense and it will keep them mired in mediocrity.  Maybe Phil knows that now and won't come.

If they offered Phil what he was originally asking for,  he will come back.  This team isn't that bad if they played to their strenghts.

No suggestions here, just great pleasure in sharing their demise.

I really wouldn't have cared except for the fact that people were here all summer talking about how Howard, Nash, Gasol and Kobe and no bench were going to be a team for the ages.

What a joke the lakers have turned out to be.

It's still early, but with Pau's knees hurting and not liking D'Antoni's system, Howard turning out not to be a huge upgrade to Bynum and with father time catching Nash and some of the other role players, I'd be a bit nervous if I cared about LA.  I am not so sure the Lakers have any way to add to that roster in a meaningful way and they clearly need help.  I am not a "told you so" guy, but injuries aside, I didn't think the Bynum-for-Howard move would be earth shattering.  That being said, there is a lot of the season left to go.

I  asked the same question as a joke a few weeks ago.  I still doubt it because, to be honest, a word, I might  add, that is not in the troll's  vocabulary, the lakers are, at  this point, pretty beat  up.  2 starters and one backup out.  Because 2 of the injured  players are  guards and the team is losing more than they are winning, this is also causing Kobe  to play more minutes, which will not help him if and when, they make the playoffs.

Plus, firing  2 coaches in a season is laughable  and would undoubtedly take away more of what little morale the lakers  have at this point.

As it is, best  case scenario for  them is 4th or 5th in  their division.  Worse case is a garage  sale.

I'd feel sorry for them if I wasn't  a  Celtics fan.

The team for the ages looks more like a team for the aged.

The Lakers were doomed the moment they gave Nash 9m per year until 2015.

Dwight is already frustrated. He's not going to re-sign with the Lakers if they crash and burn this season.

His body language says it all..I don't think his heart is in it...He does not buy into the Kobeism..
