I thought with Bass signed the celtics were at 55/56 million (not counting jeff green). but I just read on weei that
"Allen's departure limits the Celtics to a degree. They are over the cap and committed to staying under the luxury tax apron, which is expected to be $74.3 million. By using their mid-level exception on Terry, the Celtics can still re-sign some of their free agents such as Mickael Pietrus, Greg Stiemsma and Keyon Dooling. They could also use the bi-annual exception, a two-year deal worth almost $4 million to try and shore up their frontcourt."

Can anyone explain better?
