This game and our game both might push teams to make trades.  Both the Fakers and the C's need something to change.  See Kome put up his usual numbers.  Man he wants that scoring title. HAHAHA

That was a terrible final 19 minutes for the Lakers.
They are still getting virtually nothing from pg and sf.

    It's getting closer to 3/15...
    Pull the trigger Mitch!

An NBA quality pg would be a big relief for LA's offense.

They will not improve, they are old and have to live with it.

LA's problem is not age if you take out Fisher.
Their problem is primarily the pg position.
They can live with MWP if they can get a 4th scorer or a distributor that can get them easier shots.

    Boston's problem is age.

I agree Boston's problem is age.  The Lakers have a problem, they are just not that good.

    It is over for them.

Since you said so, I guess they should just give up.
You know what they say about opinions...

Heard the end of the game on the radio.
The two announcers, John Ireland and Mychal Thompson were basically embarassed to call the last 5 mins.
Ireland jinxed the game by putting it "in the freezer" in the third quarter!!  Yes, he said that!!

No, it's what Chick Hearn used to say..........that's why he thinks he jinxed it!!

Kobe and Gasol are getting up there. Artest is already showing his age and fisher isnt a starter anymore. What do you mean age isn't an issue? Were you sleeping under a rock the last few years?

Haven't you heard?  The Lakers are really good man.  One player away.

    Seriously?

One player away from winning a first round playoff series.  Light years from a NBA title.

Age does not dictate how you play.
Kobe is 33 and is still a top 10 player in the league.
Gasol is showing no signs of slowing down.

It's funny that nobody mentions Kobe's age after he had 3 straight great games after the all-star break.

Then why did you say earlier in this thread that the Celtics are old?

And Gasol shows no signs of slowing down?  Do you realize this is his worst offensive year ever?  He is getting to the line way less this year. Which obviously shows he is settling for jumpers instead of going inside.

    Denial.

It's funny how an 8-26 night followed up with a 9-31 night can make people think the guy is slowing down!!

Boston is an "old" team because age has had a big impact on their players, especially starters.
Pierce: Much slower, has hard time creating his own shot
Ray: Now only a one-dimensional jump shooter
    JON: Done
KG: A shell of the player he used to be.

Gasol will not put up the same numbers when Bynum is on the low post on almost every posession.

Everybody can see that Kobe is slowing down.
The Lakers are losing because they are getting nothing from their pg and sf.
Kobe doesn't have to be a high flyer like he used to be for LA to win.

Brown will go, or kobe will go - mark my words!!!!  After your team falls on its' face this year.........one of them will be gone!!

Then why did they try so hard to trade him.  Fact is.......they BLAMED him for the playoff exit last year....he's soft, he was distracted, he's played too much over the last 3 years................and don't try to fool me -   I LIVE out here, and hear it on the radio every day....they BLAME Gasol for the mess you're in!!!
