I love this team and I love KG and PP

BUT........

Is this team even a top four team in the East ?

Do they even make it out of the first round ?

You gotta wonder

I like how Ainge has always been bold and cold in his analysis of where this team stands

Half measures never get you anywhere

Is it time to blow it all up ?

Have Paul Pierce and KG become "progress stoppers" ?

In a Rondo world , those two vets could bring in $26M worth of young talent , add in Jason Terry's $6M and lets not forget Bass's $6M and while we're at it, maybe Jeff Green is not what we had hoped........the Celtics have $47M of flexibiltiy...

What other superstar besides Rondo will lead the Celtics into the next age ?

The closest thing on the roster seems to be Avery Bradley , but after him ?

A lot of very nice role players with attractive salaries and solid reputations

Of course it's early and I'd love to see this team come together to challenge Miami in the Eastern Conference Finals again........but REALLY ? All the big contenders were injured last year, Chicago with no D. Rose , Orlando with no Dwight Howard, Atlanta with no Al Horford

Do the Celtics get out of the first round this year as the worst rebounding team in the NBA ?

What is Danny AInge thinking today after the Bucks beat the crap out of the Celtics for the 2nd time this season ?

Would a frontcourt of Gortat, David Lee and Jeff Green combined with a Rondo  & Avery Bradley backcourt give the Celtics a more relaistic chance of contending this year ?

Garnett is hardly the problem, we need more of him. Pierce cannot accept a lesser role, I just don't think anybody would give up much for PP.   If he would accept a lesser role he can still help this team.

will never happen. kg will retire a celtic. unless pierce makes crazy financial demands going forward he will as well.

I can't see Garnett or Pierce playing for any other team but the Celtics.

All you could get for Pierce at this time in his career would be a 2nd round draft choice. We can't do anything with him this year. Next year we have options!!
