Yet, ho-hum, another crazy trade idea.........

Be open-minded, please, or I'll throw my bizarre 4 team trade on ya!!

A lot of us like Rondo to LAL for Nash and #7 - let's start with that.

For the rest, we must "assume":

    1.  DA really wanted one of the top 4  (Embiid, Exum, Parker, Wiggins) and tried very hard to move up.

    2.  He wants a PG to replace "wee-devil man" (for you mel), and Exum and Smart are gone.

    3.  He thinks there are a lot of good players in this draft (as most people do)

so - we trade #6 to CHI for #16 and #19.

The draft goes - Embiid, Wiggins, Parker, Exum, Smart.   CHI, at 6, should take Stauskas or McBuckets.

At 7 - we take Vonleh

    at 16, we take LaVine

at 17, we take Warren - who DA is known to love

at 19 we take Payton - who I think will be very good!

Payton, Bradley, Green (for now) Sully and Vonleh

Pressey, LaVine, Wallace, Bass (for now) Oly

    FA, Babb, Johnson, Warren, Fav

    If not Vonleh, take Gordon

If not Warren, take Porzingis or Anderson.

Plan is to move Green and Bass.........somehow.  Maybe next post!!

If no Bynum injury, no Gasol trade - last word!!

Why do most of these crazy trades end up with a starting lineup next year that includes 3 or 4 of the same losers who took us to glory this year?

    Because :

    a.  We can't get rid of them or

    b. they are still young.

I have 3 starters returning, true - Bradley (who is only 23) , Sully - who could be our best forward, and Green, who I clearly said I want to move.

Larry, Moe and Curly were young once too.

Re: Yet, ho-hum, another crazy trade idea.........

If we can dump Wee Devilman PG I'd accept Mr. Green Jeans until we can just let him leave...he sucks but the dream of dumping both Greensleaves and Rondon't is too wonderful to let myself contemplate. Too much of a good thing is not good for the soul.

No big time FA's are coming here until:

    1. We get rid of Wee Devilman PG, Mr. Boston Ball-Hog, and

    2. We start to look like our young guys can win - this part will take a couple of seasons to acquire (draft) good, young talent and let them learn.
