    Andy Enfield to UCLA?

UCLA just announced that they let Ben Howland go. This is one of the top coaching opportunities in the country. Is it too soon to talk about Andy Enfield as his successor? Shaka Smart? Who else might be in line? One of the carpetbaggers, Calipari or Ricky P.? Is there a UCLA alum who might be ready?

Unless they're starting to pine for warmer weather, why in the world would either Ricky or Calipari go to UCLA?   The Wooden days are over,  that would be a step down for either guy.

There is some speculation about Smart,  but he's turned down a couple of other lucrative gigs the past couple of years.   Seems like they are just tossing out names based on how hot the commodity is, and nothing more.

In the local Naples papers today, there's already speculation that Enfield will be moving on. He is THE hot commodity right now.

1948 worried about UCLA in Naples' Blue Hair Village, might say he should be worried about Jerry York in Providence going Jackie Parkers' route?

Way back in 1948 when the Indians had Jim Hegan behind the plate, Joe Gordon, Larry Doby, with Dale Mitchell shoring up the outfield, and magic man Eddie Robinson at first must be a good remember when stories, and adding in Bobby Lemon, the side arm wonder, certainly is good fodder for those blue light specials.

News about FGCU from Naples is all we can handle on these already inane posts.

Or, news about ND hockey's seed in the upper crrust bracket is also something really important to post about.  Oh, and you forgot to change fonts from another post you inadvertantly made somewhere else.

Gipper, once again you demonstrate your stupidity with your ageist comments. Your parents and grandparents must be proud of you. I've seen all of those guys you mentioned, and many more. Your research isn't bad for a middle-schooler, but you forgot to mention my icon Satchel Paige, the oldest rookie ever in baseball; Lou Boudreau, the wunderkind player/manager and the 1948 MVP; and "Rapid" Robert Feller, who won 19 games that year. I hope you grow old as gracefully and successfully as they did. Bob Lemon was never a side arm wonder, by the way, but he did win 20+ games 7 times and is a Hall of Famer.
P.S. People are a lot more interested in FGCU hoops than ND hockey.

Most folks I have spoken with are excited about the local Univ. doing well. Young and old as well. your stereotypical viewpoints on everyone based on an adress are a bore. Best of luck to FGCU!

Always wondered why Buffoon College keeps Wonder Boy around? Exciting 3 years of no shows in the Dance, as Tubby Smith & Howland are let go. If you don’t cut down the nets you’re fired. At Buffoon College, you’re rewarded and get a pass at second collection Sunday on appeal.

Too much sun hanging around ndKing’s blue hairs in Naples? Just rants and throws stuff out for comment. Its’ called passing the time of day when you’re in Naples, or else you’re talking about your next M.D. appointment at the heated pool.

Or, in your world, intelligent converse is a forbidden pleasure, barricaded by the ineptitude of your alternate login method of defending one false internet personality by use of another, and another, and another. All false personalities to be equally boring, repetitive, plagiaristic, and unoriginal.

It's great to have the board moderated better than previously, though only a little  disappointing that the worst posts are removed before we can read them for humor value.
