[QUOTE]Hockey East talent could not match Michigan, and Minnesota-Duluth & Minnesota, in particular the Bulldogs Mike Siedel the elite of NCAA Hockey. After what Denver did to BC , anyone would say,  the Championship in Tampa will come out of the WCHA or Central. Further, BC could not beat Union of the ECAC, as they are too over powering. Hockey East is soft this year BU, is loaded with perverts running around the women's domitories, and Merrimack, Maine, UNH  are cup cakes. UM Lowell has talent, as I was at Tsongas and will give BC a run for their money, if they beat PC today which is ecpected. Sorry Troll : Union Dutchmen Men's Hockey NCAA Division I Overall Record: 22-7-7 (.708) Conference Record, ECAC: 14-4-4, 32 points Home: 10-2-4 / Away: 10-5-3 / Neutral: 2-0-0

A mighty fine academic institution also.  BC would take their rejects in a heart beat. Known as a Little Ivy, on the par with Colgate, Hamilton and Haverford ... Not to shabby of a team either,  for 1800 students the roster is loaded with well seasoned Canadians! Avon Old Farms, one of the best Preps for Hockey in the Northeast is a funnel to Union, doubt my word whr, ask Brian Leetch, a product of Avon Old Farms!

UML another fraud in Hockey East by the Merrimack River! Add on Merrimack, north Merrimack River country. Frauds as the BU hockey program in criminal detention hearings!

No match for Minnesota - Duluth bozos

How bad is Hockey East this year? Real bad!  UML, UNH, Merrimack, UMASS & Maine, all would be second fiddle to Quinnapiac!

Minnesota, Minnesota Duluth, Denver, North Dakota, St. Cloud State, Michigan Tech Make Up Field for 2012 Red Baron™ WCHA Final Five.

All of the above could beat any team in Hockey East ....

Gipper, your last two posts indicate that you pulled an all nighter to come up with these pearls of wisdom: "All would be SECOND FIDDLE to Quinnapiac (sic)" and "All take SECOND FIDDLE to Notre Dame." As the saying goes, "Try to avoid cliches like the plague."

    Re: BC Hockey Wins Again

It is indeed unfortunate that these threads get corrupted by what I think any rational observer would conclude is nonsense.

Bashing BC hockey???   Really????  I understand why some take their shots at BC BB, but hockey????

All BC has done over the past 10 years is win six HE Regular Season Titles, six HET Titles, Gone to the Frozen 4 SIX TIMES, and won THREE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS.  Going into the HET semi-finals this season, they are currently ranked #1.

In the past 10 years, BC has set the standard for college hockey dominance.  Most of the other college hockey programs have openly stated that they seek to emulate BC's program.

The fact is that Notre Dame hockey can only dream of the success that BC hockey has enjoyed.

To the BC hockey bashers...can someone point out to me ONE program over the past 10 years that has enjoyed more success than BC?  Not over the whole history of college hockey, but over the past 10 years?

  12. It is sometimes synonymous with the "Little Three," Amherst, Wesleyan, and Williams.[2][3][4] (The term "Little Three" is well-defined as a former athletic league[5][6][7] and has often been used to identify these schools as a socially and academically elite trio;[8][9][10][11][2] the term has also been used to compare the three institutions with the so-called Big Three of the Ivy League: Harvard, Yale, and Princeton.[12][13]) Encarta defines "Little Ivies" to refer to these three schools, which it characterizes as "small" and "exclusive" and as having "high academic standards and long traditions."[14]
  13. It can refer to the schools of the modern-day New England Small College Athletic Conference[15][16] (NESCAC), which includes the "Little Three" together with Bates, Bowdoin, Colby, Connecticut, Hamilton, Middlebury, Trinity, and Tufts .

Even though this is a hockey forum, I must point out that the SJ's, as you refer to them, have 6 teams "running amok" in the NCAA basketball tournament this year, almost 10% of the field. Another misguided slam, WHR, but that's typical of your trolling mentality.
