Any more fearless predictions, Oh wise one?

Some really tough seeding for the New England teams.  Harvard had a solid year and are up against a red hot Vandy team.  Putting Uconn in Kentucky's (overall #1 seed) group AT Louisville, Kentucky is a home game for Kentucky.  Vermont looked good against Stony Brook but a play-in game doesn't feel like they really got in the tourney especially if they lose tomorrow night.

Tough seedings? Come on Donnnnnn, if your rants about UCon's greatness are any indicator, the presence of any other NE team is a miracle - as to facing UK: Well, ya gotta get by the first round!

C'MON Donnn face reality and get some help?  Vermont, and Harvard are One and Out! Good appearance against Stony Brook? C'MON MAN?

Sleepers if you know your NCAA Baskertball are Murray State, St. Mary's and Marquette. I would put Harvard's chances of beating Vanderbilt as Zero Point Zero!

Come on Cheeroh - you're a Ucon guy - as soon as they get a bid to Hockey East, you'll be their biggest booster -- Oh, and do I need to remind you this isn't a hockey post?

I get up to Burlington several times a year - sometimes in a UVM sports season - give a shout-out to any kid who plays baseball for any schoool, at any level - snow in the outfield at Centennial Field, plus you can overlook the ghost of the UVM football field - undefeated since 1979!

An, I might add - one of their last wins was over UMass - much to my shame.

Al Skinner's name keeps popping up during the Rhode Island head coaching search.  He reportedly said he wants the job if they offer.  Don't know if he (or anyone) has been interviewed yet.   As much as I like Al, it would be a mistake for RI to take him back.  Still, this is Rhode Island we're talking about. Their hiring history - from hiring the disgraced Harrick, to offering a player (Lamar Odom) to pick Harricks replacement,  to stealing the HC from a fellow A10 school - has been very curious.  Just as curious that Skinner would want to return, URI fired Baron for more or less the same reasons that BC fired Skinner.

Slim.... Boobryan did so much damage to Skinners' future it's all over, and leave it at that!

A lot of people, Ryan included, figured Bruiser was done when UMASS canned him .. Al's got another head coaching job in him, even if he doesn't have the hair he had in his UMASS days!

Question: How does BC relatively poor performance the last two seaon's hurt Skinner's chances to return to URI? The common complaint being Skinner left the cupboard bare for Donahoe. He's been out of coaching for two years probably for that reason.

Skinner is a great coach that will keep any team competitive BUT only if he has assistants who can recruit.  Skinner won't do that, he's not good at it and has no desire to do so.  That's why it went downhill at BC, he lost his assistants who got him the players and then nothing.  But if he gets the support he's a great coach.

Skinner would be a good choice and I am sure he would like to shake up that area again, however URI just got permission, from Wagner to speak with Danny Hurley .

Read that article a very good expose on Harvard, and it's very friendly admission for jocks ... not on the up and up, as you think! Another Georgia Tech?

With the cold frigid Northeast still going through their winter doldrums, and Vermont, UCONN, Harvard Yard, crapping out in the NCAA’s, the ACC getting plummeted so early, a little UND support needs to come into fruition.
