Clemson and FSU to Leave ACC

It's not official yet, but reports indicate Clemson and Florida State might be joining Texas A&M and Missouri in a 16 team SEC. Where does this leave the ACC?

The ACC will be fine.  Guarantee there will be infighting among Rutgers, WV, Syracuse and even UConn to join.  Remember that Syracuse was going to join the ACC back in 2004, but VaTech received the invite instead.  BE football is beingheld together with duct tape.

One stupid post from a BC hack ... Syracuse, Rutgers are going to the Big Ten to expand their presence and Big Ten Cable TV to the East Coast! UConn is being entertained also to expand the Conference to 14 teams ... Big time football coming this way folks, and it's not BC ... IOWA, NEBRASKA, MICHICAN, MSU, PURDUE and BC is on the skids with Stony Brook in the pathetic ACC!

In 2012 UCONN @ Foxboro ...game is sold out! Thank you Robert Kraft!

as always, UCONN NATIONAL NCAA CHAMPIONS!

So if the UConnblog or the Hartford Courant says so it means it's going to happen ? Yah OK!

The Big Ten is expanding East and is interested in the University of Pittsburg Panthers, a great program, which has fallen on hard times because of bad head coaching decisions.  Penn State would love to have PITT as an arch rival in a strong conference now the Nebraska Huskers' has joined the foil.

Nebraska has been second rate to Texas, and Tom Osborn got tired of their TV sharing revenue schemes in the Big 12. It's about cable $$$$ as with Flipper Flippo the sleaze at BC!

BC missed the boat as is not a Tobacco Road team miles above the Mason-Dixon Line. The ACC is not a football powerhouse conference. FSU has stuggled and will gain immensely by bolting to the SEC which down here in FL is all a hush hush done deal.

Know your facts SanDog ... PITT is crawling to come to the Big Ten with the 'Cuse & Rutgers. Look at UND's schedule for the next 5 yrs. just simply AWESOME, the best of the NCAA best besides their usual scrimmage with the unknown Catholics from the Northeast!

Add on how much $$$$ Flipper receives by having NBC televise the BC game at UND this year. Do you believe NBC would carry BC-Central Florida in PRIME TIME, on an anecdote, NBC is carrying UND-Southern Florida in PRIME TIME?

SEC  spokepeson is claiming only that  13th team   A+M is being considered and they will consider a move to 14  not 16 teams.

They also say that no school will be admitted from a state with a current SEC member    which makes it impossible for FSU and Clemson to join.

Look for Va Tech  to be number 14..

Now your adding Pitt into the mix ? Yes I used to love the Pitt-Penn State rivalry when it was relevant (when was that ? 82')...

ND has that contract only because advertisers from Chicago have a lock on the major corporations. How many Ad agencies from Chi Town have a lock or Domers influence on NBC ?

How about the Irish win a big game once in awhile ?

San Dog PITT is in the mix always was .... The Big Ten wants the Eastern market and 14 teams, or two divisions with a play off system. The Big Ten is the only major conference without one for rights to the Rose Bowl.  Again $$$$$$$!

Florida State will vacate the ACC as it is losing serious recruits to USF and UCF. The offer to play Alabama & Auburn each year is highly attractive to these young High School super studs from the Merrit Island and Cocoa Beach area a hot bed for talent. No longer cup cakes these two schools are giving UF and FSU some seious play because of location and starting position play. UCF has a super talent in their QB who was heavily recruited Nationally and within FL.

Once again you are showing your stupidity. uconn is not playing anyone at Foxboro, and your friends from Notre Dame realized that uconn is a waste and cancelled all proposed games aginst the puppies.

Strong rumors are that uconn has realized that they can't compete with a rising Umass program. The puppies are dropping football and going back to their roots as a cheating basketball only school.

Hmm, Randy Edsall left Big East/UConn for ACC/Maryland. Why would he do that? Is the ACC an upgrade from the Big East? UConn forced AD Hathaway to retire immediately.

"In the event of such NCAA investigation, UConn, like Hathaway, shall cooperate fully with the NCAA in connection with any investigation/or hearing, and UConn shall provide Hathaway with legal representation in accordance with controlling state law," according to the document
    http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5gL7Xrs3BaEZndfOcnrN-BOlG0tlw?docId=bac34cf21e2d4a27b1aaa52744b5f6cf

Looks like UConn is in trouble. Does any other conference need the headache of adding a University that is under investigation? The Big East is falling apart good thing BC got out at the right time.
