I'm not sure if it's permissible to post a Hartford Courant article on the Globe's discussion page, but this was an interesting piece about the Andre Drummond/Michael Bradley walk-on/scholarship situation. Why is Coach Calhoun so testy with the reporter?

Your link is broken. Don't know what Calhoun said, but he's never been called Mr Congeniality, and the Horde would test even a patient man. Very nice gesture by Drummond. -

Sorry about the broken link. Don't know how to fix it, and the article is too long to summarize here. In it Calhoun is quoted as saying "(Drummond) is the best walk-on in the history of the country." And he might have added that Drummond is not a traditional walk-on, players who are basically on the team to work the regulars hard in practice, improve the team's GPA, and sometimes get into games in garbage time.
