for the dim wit in providence .... where do the Red Sox turn?
Before Barnes can begin talking to the Sox about his own development, however, he has to finish his college season.Barnes’s UConn team defeated Clemson on draft night to advance to NCAA Tournament’s super regional play this weekend. The Huskies will take on South Carolina in a best-of-three series beginning Friday night. Barnes, 11-3 with a 1.12 ERA in 15 starts this season, is expected to start in the series.

Flippo might reassess why Troll U receives absolutely no press from its other knee jerk NCAA programs, after Mass Highway clears the snow off Interstate 95?

Congratulations. You have reached a new level of incoherence (or stupidty).
It's June, there is no snow. What does this have to do with the first part of your sentence, or anything related to college sports or BC?
You end the thought, and I use that word very generously, with a question mark but there is no question.

Arizona State's Brady Rogers pitched into the seventh inning and Texas committed two errors in the third to help the Sun Devils to a 3-1 victory over the Longhorns in the opener of an NCAA super regional series on Friday night.
The Sun Devils (43-16) added another run in the eighth when Joey DeMichele hit an RBI single to left field. It was DeMichele's eleventh RBI in the past four games.
Rodgers (9-4), who allowed eight hits, pitched 6 2-3 innings and Mitchell Lambson got the save.
Texas ace Taylor Jungmann (13-2), who had the nation's longest winning streak at 15-0 and who until last weekend hadn't been beaten at home, allowed three hits and three runs.
and, for those who seldom go beyond the Route 9 Natick Mall, I offer some some vision as to where BC places in NCAA Varsity Sports .... nonexistant an enigma to their imagination
Go Huskies Beat USC!

With the majority of the big money NCAA sports programs sponsoring benefits to the needy and "the other" sports programs, BC took a bath this year in lost TV revenue. BC produced ZERO opportunities in establishing a solid ACC Baseball program which ranks on a par with the Tewksbury Little League!

Earth to MO,
The player defections at The Institute under Stevie Wonder and the departures at PC are - now get the dictionary ready - inapposite, son.
Stevie Wonder lost EVERY ONE of his return-eligible players for next season- all of them deciding to leave after playing one season for him.
That did NOT happen with Coach Cooley.
PLAIN AND SIMPLE, my boy.
Peace.

SD is losing two (Jackson (with a chance for real money) and that other kid. Is Coach K a bad guy for losing Irvin after one season?
And of course Cooley has yet to coach a game, never mind a season at PC.
Doesn't the admin at PC ( Pres and AD) have some responsiblity for the eight BB players who have left over the past two years?
In evaluating things it is best to try to align the circumstances so as to arrive at a fair conclusion. This is called logic.
Please give us something better than the flaccid logic and reasoning you have displayed so far
and now onto the important stuff:
How about those minutes?
How about the lack of publicity in college guides about the admin's duplicity?
How do you explain />32K applications including I believe a record number this year?
How about the turnover figures for the past 15 years?
What about criticism for Calhoun and the suspension, while bringing up other such things at BC which no one in the College was associated with? How about the dismal APR and loss of now three scholaships?
How about PC losing eight scholarship basketball athletes in two years? Shouldn't the AD and Pres be held accountable for creating an atmosphere where this can happen?
Is losing a scholaship athlete ok because a new coach did not want to keep him? If so what are the other reasons why it is ok when an athelete leaves when a new coach comes on board? Is it ok if the kid decides on his own to leave?
and maybe just for your paramour

For those not going to the festivities on Causway Street the server will shut down promptly at 11:00 a.m. to allow the unemployed BC grads time to edit their grammer and punctuation for the Dorchester Career Fair Monday morning at BC High!
