maybe, it's a weak enough league and they always schedule some cupcakes. I think that is the issue also where BC finds winning 8 games (mostly against poor teams) a good season. OK, let's look at their schedule... They play Maine, Northwestern, Army which should all be easy wins. So can they win 5 more in the other 9 games? maybe
I think BC is stuck in a rut where they don't have the talent to really seriously win the ACC and get to a BCS game. Instead they hope to win against the barely D1 non-league games, win the easy ACC games and lose the games they should lose.
I predict the same old BC season. mediocre football and some cheerio's-criagslist.com bowl game in Topeka.

More stupidity, attempting to deflect attention away from your team. The Huskies will never reel off 12 bowl games in a row like the Eagles did. UConn can't even put a few decent seasons together in a conference were teams are bailing out.
You make it so easy to turn your birdbrain posts around. The Big Least is done, so is Calhoun and so are the Huskies!

Lo, I'm no fan of the Huskies, but they're not a bit player. You only have to look at both the men's and women's basketball programs. It would be great to have a little more objectivity on these blogs; not just pro-BC/anti-BC or pro-UConn/anti-Uconn.

Thank you Indian, good to see someone being levelheaded around here. "bit player"? Uconn is a national contender in hoops winning 3 national titles since 1999. No other team has won more so would you still consider that a "bit" player? Maybe you should read this article where Uconn is #9 (I was shocked to see Louisville, Kansas, UCLA (of recent years) and Syracuse ahead of Uconn)

As for this thread, I am not anti BC. Yes I am a Uconn fan and I live in Boston so I appreciate when BC is doing well. I go to games and enjoy seeing good competition and I really think GDF retiring will help BC be more competitive in the long run. BC (besides hockey which is really a localized sport very few outside of New England/upper US states and Canada care about) has been awful in the big sports the past years. I think GDF is petty and scared of Uconn and I'd like to see the rivalry with BC and Uconn start up again. I'm not sure Calhoun cares to even play BC as their is nothing to gain beating up a hapless BC hoops team but football would be a close game.

I believe the Rosie charade is like BC football the 2012 rendition ... all hype! UMAINE Black Bears at Alumni, the Irish headed to Dublin.... play anywhere, any team, anyplace! Go IRISH!
