    http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/she-the-people/wp/2012/12/04/why-i-wont-be-cheering-for-old-notre-dame/

Two years ago, Lizzy Seeberg, a 19-year-old freshman at Saint Marys College , across the street from Notre Dame, committed suicide after accusing an ND football player of sexually assaulting her. The friend Lizzy told immediately afterward said she was crying so hard she was having trouble breathing.

Yet after Lizzy went to the police, a friend of the players sent her a series of texts that frightened her as much as anything that had happened in the players dorm room. " Dont do anything you would regret ," one of them said. " Messing with Notre Dame football is a bad idea. "

God is on Notre Dames side

Calm Down Indian Man ... there are more tragic events going on this weekend, as in CT, than the break up of the Big East.  You are trully an idiot!

ESPN is reporting that the 7 Big East non-FBS schools (Georgetown, Seton Hall, Villanova, Marquette, Providence, St. John's and DePaul) are not happy with the direction of the league and might be looking to form a basketball-only league. They would then try to lure Xavier, Dayton, Creighton, Butler and St. Louis to form a 12 team basketball conference. This seems like a great idea to me, back to the way Dave Gavitt envisioned the Big East originally.

For 1948, the Last Word is tempting to think that getting the last word, as a toxic person, is worth pursuing, but there’s one thing that’s even better Apologizing to a Narcissist? Make it fast!

The humor is BC Basketball, and the rest of its athletic program in 2012 it sucks!

Can we attach BC Baseball in 2013 to this humor?

Nearly every possible scenario has been layed out by now.  One of them must be right.  Gotta say that Blaudshan's is the dumbest theory of them all.   He used to be good, but the past couple of years he has tanked.

The C7 don't want anything to do with football, they've made that quite clear.   Why would they add 2 football schools?  And beyond that, while Cincy and Xavier play each other, they also hate each other.  Both in the same conference?  Not likely.

Xavier's AD, the best in the conference, was just introduces as Georgia Tech's new guy.  Bobinski is the real brains behind Xavier's long run of excellence, not missing a beat (until this season), with each of their many coaching changes.   Something must be afoot, I just don't know how to interpret this.

If Xavier sticks in the A10, then the C7 has a problem. They're not getting Butler, Dayton, VCU, or anyone else with the exception of St Louis,  without Xavier sweetening the pot.   The C7 alone are not that appealing.  If Xavier says no, and Georgetown goes their own way,  then the remaining 6 really are up the creek.

I haven't heard of anyone beating down Al Skinner's door to hire him. And Yukon won't be going to the postseason this year due to "overall lack of academic achievement and minimal academic progress over several years." Than you Coach Calhoun, you're truly a legend.

Middle of the pack?  Miami is 13-3 (4-0) with an RPI at 5.  I doubt that will hold, but this is still very likely a tournament team.

BC looked very shakey early in the season, like they hadn't improved or learned from last season.  But halfway through this season it's clear that they are better.  Not sure what their ceiling is going to be, I think they still need a few more pieces if they're going to be more than merely competitive.  But they are competing now, that is a step up from last year.

With Miami, and a stong Maryland, and Virginia team next; look for this pretender to be at rock bottom in  the ACC. Coupled with UNC, on the return trip home. This will put BC's ego in Charleston Harbor underwater for the rest of the season in complete disgrace Tobacco Country.

82nd my man!  So I realize it's still Spring Football season, but what do you think, spinners or spoons?  For bass I mean.  If you're strictly catfish, no time for anything but football, football, catfish, and football, then I understand.  I just figure if anyone knows bass it would be a cracker.
