Here's the latest on the Leprechauns' "investigation" into the facts of the Manti hoax:

The investigation ordered by Notre Dame was limited to the electronic search, [Notre Dame spokesman Dennis] Brown said. Investigators did not interview Te'o or his family, nor did anyone attempt to contact Ronaiah Tuiasosopo or any of his relatives.

In response to questions, university officials said the investigators did not examine cell phone records, e-mails or other electronic communication to determine the length or extent of Te'o'scommunication over the past few years with the person claiming to be Lennay Kekua, nor did the university ask Te'o to take a lie detector test.

They really dug deep for the facts here. The "investigation" is just another hoax.

Interesting to note the Top 100 is listed and Alabama dominates the Top 20, UND King should be happy Notre Dame is not to shabby, with USC a strong contender. I predict Lane Kiffen will be fired by Pat Hadden after 2013 season, if he doesn't produce a BCS Bowl bid.

SEC schools have the Top 100 recruits locked with Florida, Auburn as a runner ups.

A YMCA pick up team was introduced to the mad Ukrainian Alex Lin, and Jake Layman where our Buffoons had no answer in College Park, MD.

Justin Anderson and Akil Mitchell scored 16 points each and Virginia took command with a 16-3 run in the second half and beatBoston College 65-51 on Saturday, the Cavaliers' third straight victory.

With scoring leader Joe Harris managing just seven points for Virginia (14-5, 4-2 Atlantic Coast Conference), the freshman Anderson and Mitchell carried the scoring load. Anderson made 7 of 9 shots and Mitchell was 6-for-10 and grabbed six rebounds.

The Cavaliers, who rank second nationally in scoring defense (51.1 points per game), allowed five 3-pointers in the first half but just two more afterward in sending the Eagles (9-10, 1-5) to their fourth consecutive loss. Ryan Anderson led Boston College with 14 points and Joe Rahon added 10.

The Eagles became the 16th opponent held under 60 points by Virginia this season, including all six of their ACC foes.

The Eagles shot 36.2 percent (17 of 47), while Virginia shot 56.3 percent (27 of 48).

Boston College led 28-26 in the second half before Evan Nolte's putback tied it and sparked the big run for the Cavaliers. Mitchell followed with a three-point play, and after Ryan Anderson answered with one for Boston College, Virginia scored the next eight, prompting Eagles coach Steve Donahue to call time.

Justin Anderson completed the burst with a three-point play, giving Virginia a 42-31 lead.

The Eagles could do no better than trade baskets with Virginia the rest of the way.

Virginia led 15-9 until the Eagles hit four consecutive 3-pointers in a 12-0 run.

Virginia 65, Boston College 51

For the trolls' at the Heights: Yah gotta, yah gotta win at something, you just gotta! 

 Hockey, Basketball, Football, and above all Title IX  Girly Girl Basketball a flop in Virginia.  Donahue is an embarrassment on exhibit trying to out coach a team on Tobacco Road.  

Some kind of weekend for Buffoon  College at the John Paul Jones Arena ... It could be the absence of Malcolm Huckabee with Meterperel that big bad powerful NBA succcess?????

FYI: Tobacco Road, or Tobacco Row as you used to call it, includes Duke, UNC, NC State, and Wake Forest, but not Virginia. And I don't think the announcers were a factor in this BC loss - they just got outplayed, much as ND hockey did against the Ferris State Bulldogs of Big Rapids, MI for their 5th straight loss.
