Prov - you're right about Colorado.

And agreed, I'd like to focus on BC topics, the football program does need to rebound pretty quickly...though ironically this thread was about UConn to the MAC, which due to all the changes and conference dancing since the thread started, might not be a bad idea for the university.

whr-ladies'pgatroll, thanks again for more useless insults and accusations of new and existing forum members.

    Kimy,

UConn probably has a decent sized alumni base in Greater Boston, are you saying they can't read the local paper and give their thoughts?  If you want to go to a place with only BC fans then go post at the BC interuption or another BC fan site.

what's wrong with being the best hockey program in the country, then having a decent football team (except for this year, BC was better than A LOT of D1 teams), and a decent basketball team (except for the past 2 years)...

Show me a school with BC's academic stature, that did a lot better in Hockey, Football and Basketball from 2000-2010.  ummm, you can't.  Even without Hockey, BC's combo of Fooball and Basketball was ABOVE avg, in those years.

Sorry Huskies...you won a few NC's with your criminal coach/program, but the future doesn't look too bright in Stoors, unless you do some rimming in South Bend; and beg them for a package deal...

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: UConn Football to the MAC? : BC is in the ACC!!! BC football is having a tough season this year (their first in 13 seasons). So why are UConn fans on these boards? This is a Boston newspaper. Nobody cares about UConn football here. No one except for UConn grads. Why not comment in the Hartford Courant (the UConn mouthpeice) about the fact that UConn unjustly sued and slandered BC back in 2003.

[QUOTE]Trbow - you are correct and I was mistaken - I forgot about Notre Dame playing all three with the academic clout. Good catch....but still you probably get my point. People love to Bash BC for what they are not.....rather than give them credit for the many awesome things that they are. Go Eagles!

Slim, You usually have something cogent to say, but come on! "if you think anyone outside of Chesnut Hill gives the tiniest rat sheet about your athletic programs - every last one of them, including hockey - you are seriously deluded. You have a nice little regional school over there, enjoy it, it's more than enough." I think it's you who are seriously deluded, and now, you have BrainLess CheerLess agreeing with you with his "ditto" in his follow-up post. The ultimate ignominy!

Good to see USA Today giving Mante T'eo the recognition he deservesn for the Heisman Trophy. With no strong canidate this year, Notre Dame, 4-0,  is on top again with another Jonny Heisman. Good article USA Today... Nothing however, on Buffoon College and their handling of their abused Football team, however?
