    Re: UMass Basketball

UMass is now 23 in the AP Top 25 poll and 20 in the USA Today Coach's Poll.

They are now number 2 in the RPI behind Wisconsin. Still in pretty good shape but they need to beat Providence on the 28th. It won't be easy.

Austin and Bullockare out for the season in Providence. Good for UMass. Also good to see a University uphold their academic standards.

They were out before this. Providence just let everyone know they are out for the rest of the year. They are allowed to practice with the team.

You might recheck that schedule. The Crimson are AT Fordham today. They'll face the Eagles at 4:00 on New Year's Day, and I know you wouldn't want to miss an opportunity to cheer for your favorite team. Hope to see you there.

SEC downtime in basketball this year, except for beating up on the Fairy Queens at BC. Alabama teams are good however, especially UAB. Look for a deep run in the March madness sweeps now the Conference games have begun, while the Queens still fiddling with D-2 flunkies from the Ivy League.

Nah;  never confuse a Southern Bapist with the Kennedy clan from the Northeast rust belt.

Nice of you to call the Boston.com however, to see why Northeast collegaite athletic is diappointing to the point where local cyber popularity has dwindled Bubba.

Nice to check out a UMASS basketball blog and see idiots running the show.

Indian man can't get out of the closet with the Jesuits in Revere to the Louisiana Toilet Bowl with Dazzio's 7-5 YWCA scrubs, and bubba hyping the Tide Water Red River Valley.

All have a marvelous New Year, and let's hope the Jesuits, and Alabama man get together and settle their family feud. Rejoice in seeing some devine intervention when 'Zona puts a period at the end of the Beheads Coaches' Institute QB going nowhere in the NFL , as his earlier cohort Matty "Melt Down Ice" Ryan in Bubba's red neck heaven.

Great game out at the Mullin's Center where UMass beat Providence in overtime 69 to 67.

It was an impressive win for the simple reason Chaz Williams had fouled out of the game with several minutes left but the Minutemen found a way to win. Providence played UMass hard until the end.

    Great sell out croud!

    Go UMass!

A deflated unranked PC is not the answer to a great win there Mr. UMASS. Neither is the conquest of the scrub school over at Chestnut Hill coached by a loser at 4-9.

Beat Kevin Olley, and the 15th ranked Huskies and then your talking some accomplishment.

I believe your Revere shut in is despondent after the Viginia Commonwealth loss?

His Girls, and that sensational bust Olivier Hanlon, who had so much promised, wet his pants when he ran up against a talented NBA Brad Stevens' type coach, and next year's NBA lotto picks down at the Jay Z Center.

Well it's nice to see you respond to the UMass topic! It's a little tiring to read everything but UMass topics in this "UMass Basketball" forum.

But as far as being able to play the 15th ranked Huskies the only way that might happen is for them to both make the NCAA tournament and play in the the same region that most likely will not happen or for them to meet somewhere in the finals. Now that would be sweet.

Good luck to UConn and we hope they do well until and if they meet UMass!

    Go UMass!

Apologies to Umass fans. Put me on Ignore. I have no interest in Umass bball but stop by occasionally to respond to the illiterate, homophobic bigots that dominate this message board.

Hey 82nd - I can't keep track. Are you a Bama fan or an Auburn fan? You don't really need to answer because we all know that you are neither. You are the classic front runner and if Idaho was playing in the BCS champioship game, you would be an Idaho fan

I'm sure you saw this news item from Fort Bragg. Being the big tough macho guy that you are, we would love to know your reaction.

Feel bad for him UMASS fan, he's is one of Mitch Garabedian's moving targets, where the second collection has been used to support the S.J order which needs sizeable monetary relief for their past doings.

The Beheads Coaches Institute, over at the S.J. carousel, and their pontifical athletic program, under AD Bates, has gone nowhere and hit the BC  poor box takings after second collection.

... just a frustrated altar boy whose closet door has been locked too long while at the Beheads "S.J." Coaches Institute.
