UCONN football is dead?  How do you figure?  They have the best training facilities in the country, and are a Top 50 program almost every year.  They'd be a jewel for the ACC to pick up, and will only get better with the status of ACC member.  Their only hinderance right now is getting recruits to play in the dieing Big East.  Those silly enough to be UMass fans should stop hating on their Southern "rivals" just because they're a lot better than UMass ever will be. 

Who knew that at UConn the spelling major teaches you to spell "dying" as "dieing".  And now they praise the ACC, when until now they've been telling everybody that the Big East is superior. Or at least better than lowly UMass in the MAC. I guess when you're desperate to find a lifeboat, you're willing to make nice with everybody.  Or they'll sue to get in, or as the NY Times reported, an "unnamed congreesman from Connecticut" ( does Blumenthal know anything other than litigation?) is exploring congressional investigation of the NCAA.

Yukon is getting a reality check. It is inferior in many ways to BC and the ACC schools. This will be justified payback for the foolish lawsuit they pinned on BC when the Eagles wisely ascended to a better league, with better academics, better football, and YES better basketball....and oh by the way....more money. Pitt and Syracuse are terrific additions for the ACC - one a major basketball power with a fine football tradition, the other a major and vibrant city/TV market - with good basketball and football.

The only people who care about Yukon are Yukon wannabees, and frustrated fans and alumns - who think that on-court success translates into respect - when in fact the wins come at the price of a cheating, a classless buffoon as a coach, acdemics and graduation rates worse than Walpole State Prison, a campus that most people from the elite universities have never visited or considered, a lousy TV market and a football team that has scaled the heights of mediocrity in a soft league.

Yes BC football is having a terrible year - these things go in cycles. But Yukon is not worthy or belonging in the ACC and the Karma train has them headed to the MAC.... They are now begging BC and the ACC for a seat at the table and they won't get it. So congrats you deperate hypocrites - let Calhoun "Proudly" lead you to another tainted, prostituted NCAA hoop title where the rest of the country couldn't care less. Payback is a B!tch and this is going to be costly for Sueconn!
