Alex,

New Bedford has two ties, one to Madison Park and don't recall who else they tied but pretty certain they had a second tie.

Yeah, hard to keep up when team's don't report scores unfortunately or in some cases inaccurately. Just trying to do the best I can with the info that's provided.
I think danvers should be ranked they beat salem, medford who is ranked and easily with some lukc could have beat masco and north andover. losing to both after having the lead for most of the game. They are 6-2 which is a better record than medford who is ranked who they beat 5-1 convincingly. Just consider danvers they are real
    Posted by soccerfan1232
One result doesn't make a Top 25 ranking unfortunately. You can compare one result to another team all day and you would have about 20,000 arguments on which teams should be ranked in the Top 25. However, when ranking Medford, I had thought they actually did beat Somerville, but the score that was reported was wrong. Nice game against Masco and big wins against Medford and clobbering Marblehead, but more like what have you done for me lately. The loss to N. Andover killed your chances at making the Top 25. Traditional over the past years the Northeastern Division hasn't been very good.

And just lost to a good Franklin team.  Bye Bye top 20 ranking.  Gottta win those games if you're gonna stay in the top 20.  The good thing is the rankings don't mean jack, just something to talk and debate about.  Still think Attleboro has the ability, like others, to compete and beat some top teams.

You know, as I'm watching the season progress, this may be the year Winchester overtakes Lexington. What about Bp. Feehan, they've fallen under the radar, but have some good quality wins. New Bedford is the second best team( or close to it) right now, but will they be come tourney time? Brockton losing to Old Rochester? Could be a misprint. Wellesley coming back last week to demolish Brookline. The Brookline "D" that had at one point looked like nobody could penetrate through it, seems very vulnerable at this point. Could be injury issues at Brookline right now. Everett smashed Peabody 5-1, which tells you everything you need to know about the Northeastern Division.

Huge game tomorrow: Lexington @ Winchester, 10 AM. Will Winchester prove that they are the better team, or will Lexington continue its Middlesex League dominance? I think Winchester wins it, 2-1.

I think the Globe sports staff doesn't have even the remotest acquaintance with the game of soccer. I guess Winchester will have to demonstrate how it's played today. Not that any of them would ever actually go watch a game. A$$inine rankings.

Can't really rank a team based on one game. The two losses they have are against teams that are ranked ahead of them. They have a pretty tough schedule at 6-2-2 and are also first place in the Catholic Conference. Keep in mind that the Masco game was the first game of the season for SJP.

Honestly, a bit hard to say, really depends on which New Bedford team shows up. Glad to see Madison Park playing some tough competition outside their conference.

It will either end in a 1-1 tie or New Bedford scores a goal late for the 2-1 win. My psycic abilities say if NB scores that second goal, it will be on a fluke play including a mistake by the defender.

don't sleep on Madison Park -- this could be the best team they have had since the Herman Souto days...  what do you think about their chances in the State Tournament with this years edition?  also what do you think of their coaching staff?

Brockton didn't play Old Rochester.  They don't even have them on their schedule.  Brockton's girls team lost to Old Rochester.  Brockton did lose more points in another tie to BC High.

Alex's rankings seem to be better than the globes.  Winchester way down the top 10 makes no sense, when the Globe has Lexington #1.  Winchester is the better team.

Does anyone know who the globe's voters are?
