Wow, the Globe really doesn't get it does it? 

Of course the above wasn't an article but a teaser to get as many clicks as possible - I hate that and usually don't proceed.  But in this case I was curious so I turned off Adblock on my browser (Firefox) to check the article.  And what happened when I clicked on each picture?  Yep, a pop-up ad came out with every click on the page. 

Thank goodness for Adblock-plus.  I'd like to be able to have it off when I come to Boston.com but it's too annoying to nor have it.  Other successful web sites don't allow annoying ads and I have it turned off for those.
