Stoughton's Ryan LaCasse will suit up for the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl XLI this Sunday, just one year after locals Lofa Tatupu and Matt Hasselbeck played in the NFL's championship game for the Seattle Seahawks.
So which current high school standout (or one that's off at college now) will be the next NFL talent to emerge from the Bay State?
And how about that Hockomock League? Not only did it produce LaCasse and Tatupu (King Philip), but Hasselbeck grew up in Norfolk before attending Xaverian. Could we see North Attleboro's Anthony Sherman on the game's biggest stage some day? -

how about a 6-4 lineman who is 240 pounds already scouted by the collges and is only in 10th grade at Catholic Memorial. his dad also played for the pats, seahawks and jets for a total of 15 years.so far he has been talked to by B.C., Clemsen, Virginia, Notre Dame just to name a few. the last thing is he started both ways on both offense, defense and was said by both line coaches to be the best lineman on each side and will only get bigger and faster. -

Dan Murrey of UConn, he played for Gloucester, got drafted by BC along side of legend Jim Unis and transfored to Uconn, befor this past season was ranked in the top 10 as a Tight End, but due to a ankle sprain mist half of the season but sources that i read in the paper sez that he could still be a 4th or so round pick -

>Murray was not heavily recruited by BC and never committed to them, let alone transfered anywhere. He redshirted in 2002 and played for the Huskies from 03-06.

Josh Doherty-Dartmouth College (Formerly Silver Lake) Tall, physical, strong, will make a great TE or if he gets some more body mass possibly a ILB or OLB...
Jeff Smith- BC(Formerly Silver Lake) Like someone said, you can't teach speed...who knows what position jeff would end up as...but hell be fast at...
