Why do sports pages, sports on television, sports radio, sports internet - all list pro, college, high school, and youth but not semi-pro?  You will at times hear about the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins "farm teams" but not as a regular report course of who they are and how they are doing.  Take football.  Other than an occasional hoodlum story or "a former Patriot "alledgedly" murdering a semi-pro football player - what do you hear?  There is the Eastern Football League (EFL) - oldest semi-pro football league in America - right here in Massachusetts.  There is a semi-pro team out of Quincy, MA - the Quincy Militia.  A semi-pro team out of Framingham - the MetroWest Cowboys.  What's with that sports news?
